Stitch fix to close

I'm a bit gutted for them. I think the idea was good but somehow missed the mark. I sent all my last box back but have had great nuggets of items in the past. I liked having it posted too.

I got the same email re Outfittery today. Never heard of them but keen to know more too

Does anyone know how to opt out of the data transfer? I clicked the link they provided but I can't find anywhere to actually opt out.

Got the email too. I guess we might have to wait for the transfer before asking to opt out?

Came in to see if this was on here. I am excited but not heard of them.

I sent a message to [email protected] this morning saying I did not consent and have just had an email back saying my data will not be transferred.

I clicked on the link and nothing happened. I have just had an email saying that I'd been opted out though.

God my Lookiero order was dire! I specifically asked for higher neck things as I’m having an op later this month and want to cover up the site. All v neck tops! Nasty shiny fabric. And jeans and trainers when I’ve specifically said I don’t need those!

I got the outfittery email too, and it can’t be any worse than Lookiero!

So I’ve just looked up Outfittery and it seems they are a styling service for men…! They’re based in Germany.

I looked at the Outfittery reviews and they're awful so I have opted out. I will miss SF. What a shame.

I had a look at outfittery and I am a definite no, looked at the returns and they look so complicated/jump through hoops if something goes wrong it just wouldn't be compatible with my life!
Pity.
Maybe we should all create a chat or something and pick 5 items for each other, couldn't be any more dier than what stit ch fix sent

Omg! I took the plunge with Outfittery but before I thought to look at the reviews! Now I'm worrying they won't process any returns.

I looked at the preview and they seem to have got some of it right in terms of colours I asked for. Nothing looked earth shatteringly exciting but tbf it's quite hard to tell from the pictures.

I found their questionnaire lacking but I went for it because I thought it would be interesting and not too much to lose but we shall see.

One of the things that annoys me about Lookiero is that they only give you 5 days to try on the items, decide and then send them back. The 5 days start on the morning of delivery, even if you don't receive it until evening. I've been unwell this week so asked if they could extend the 5 days and got such a snooty email back that am tempted to cancel my subscription altogether. Esp now we have a massive new m&s in city centre for me 😆

Nothing bad happens if you are late returning your Lookiero. I was busy and didn’t get to the post office for over a week, and all I got was a ‘we might not send you any more until we get this one back’ email, which, as it was a terrible box, I didn’t see was any particular threat!

Second Lookiero has arrived. Thank goodness I still have credit because it’s pretty dire again.

I got a preview this time and rejected everything as it was all shapeless (I’m an 18-20 and Stitchfix also struggled with this). So the box was a surprise. I asked for things with slightly higher neck lines, but not turtle necks… they’ve sent a black turtle neck jumper and a brown turtle neck jumper dress. I’m in two minds about a blue blouse type thing that is a nice colour and a style I would wear (not buttons but an open collar type thing) and an autumnal maxi skirt (buttons down the front, very mumsy) so I’ll have to try them on. The last thing is a peach cardigan that is very snuggly but has a slight glitter through it and I’m not sure it’s something I’d wear.

Cant share pictures yet because Lookiero doesn’t think my box is arriving until 4 Jan but it came today so I can’t check out yet. This box is definitely better than the last one but we are starting from a low baseline!

Here they are - sending them all back. They don’t even look good on the model!

I kept one sparkly sweater in my last box but the rest were awful. They only seem to do shapeless smocks in larger sizes. I’m a 16-18 and I really didn’t have this issue with Stitch Fix

Another Lookiero box has left the warehouse without me getting a preview… I’m excited in a glutton for punishment way about what polyester delights it will contain! I’ll keep going until I run out of credits!

I just had that happen and don’t like anything in the box. I have now cancelled the subscription.

Lookiero has been such a disappointment. Fortunately I have 7 pairs of trousers, 2 leather jackets 3 blouses, 3 jumpers and 2 dresses from Stitchfix to keep me going. Stitchfix was fantastic 😭
