Things that you hate in current fashion?

The half zip. Just why?

Me too, although I can't imagine they'd be very fragrant by the end of the day, not to mention the friction😶

Someone will be along to tell us to be kind soon.
A few things I like have been mentioned on here. I don't care.

Halve zips are terrible but strike me as deeply unfashionable.

Cropped flared trousers and jeans
High waist jeans
Button up the front dresses of any style.
Tattoos. They all look the same and make your skin look messy.
Tight clothes on men. So try hard.

My husband bloody loved those half zips. They’re the fleece of 2023.

I wonder how many of us are sitting here sheepishly whispering "but I love those". I know I am (which items I'm referring to will remain anonymous 😆).

And I'm probably still wearing half zips from the first time round!

I kept waiting for my eye to get used to cropped trousers. It didn't, they still look stupid!

Droopy floral dresses. It was sunny yesterday, I sat outside a café watching posses of women in acres of colourful little flowers, trying to find it pretty and charming. They just looked like a bunch of 1970s grannies coming from a cake sale.

Inverted-carrot trousers on men. Been happening for too long already.

I do like most things, honest! I don't even mind those silly "I'm not naked really" things on women, as long as they're under 30 or so. Young people are supposed to experiment with daft clothing styles 😀

And where is all this nude lycra you're all seeing? I am seeing black bike shorts everywhere but not nude (i'm in London?)

There’s no friction when your arse is that shape though.

It’s like the thongs thread a few weeks ago where half the posters could not comprehend how a thong could ever be comfortable and the other half only wore thongs.

Quite a lot. If I’m honest, I often look around and think how inelegant we are these days. I include myself in that too. We all look so scruffy all the time. I get it, it’s for comfort and I do it too, but it’s a small shame!

I go through phases where I buy the odd really nice thing and inevitably end up back in my comfies. I think covid has alot to answer for fashion wise. I literally can't wear jeans anymore.

I love a half zip...I hate the nude leotard thing. Cropped, but not belly showing is really flattering on my long body/short leg combo.

I love crop tops which everyone seems to hate - if it’s over 20 degrees my midriff is OUT.

I also love ripped jeans and I go braless an awful lot.

i seem to have an issue with leggings…

I just can't take my eyes off brows done like this. They look like the wearer has forgotten to finish them. I don't follow brow trends at all though.

Fast fashion, damage to the environment, awful treatment of workers, poor quality fabrics, waste, damage to the high street and our acceptance of all of it!

and yeah, the leggings everywhere is awful. They look good on about 1/3 of the people wearing them - and even then they look a bit too gynaecological for my tastes

Big fan of cropped wide leg cords and dungarees here. They are my self-styled uniform for work. They are comfortable, cheerful and have big pockets. They are ideal.
Completely understand the hate and don't mind one bit.

I dislike tiered skirts and dresses. Not sure what it is...just unnecessary fussiness in a lampshade stylee I think.
