@Sooverthemill I love that dress, suits you so well. Makes me tempted but the colour wouldn't suit me at all. Love the skirt too.

@neveradullmoment99 I hope you like the maeve dress. I have the other colourway. I found a lovely photo on the web from Scout with a tee being worn under it. I think I shall try that for the autumn months.

My order from Saturday has been despatched too. I doubt it will arrive before Wednesday though, so shall have to be patient.

@neveradullmoment99 , I have the Maeve dress in seagrass. I tried the 12 and the 10 on in store and stuck with the 10. I had a breast reduction recently and would have needed the 12 previously but now fit the 10. I am hoping to wear it in winter too with jumpers or cardigans. I hope it fits you and you love it: it is a beautiful dress.

Does anyone have this green chevron poplins jumpsuit? I don’t know how old it is but I reckon at least 3/4 years. If so, what’s the fit like?

I had it but sold it on. Its beautiful but neat on the bust.

I figure that jumpsuit and the Maeve dress are like the Kado and it’s very neat on the bust.

I agree. Think it will be a fairly fitted bodice.

@Snowyowl78 I have this and love it. I don't find it as neat on the bust as the maeve dress, though it's still a neatish fit. I layer it without a problem.

@neveradullmoment99 I've got the sea kelp skirt in that colour, I bought it in May and it's only getting it's first outing today . I love the colours and the fabric is so comfortable. Really hope your dress fits.

I moved the buttons. Depends what size you have got. I can't remember what I got. Think I got a 12. I was a 12 at the time😥

My sandal orders have all arrived and I’ve just had a try on….and am none the wiser what to do!
The Birkenstock Eva Arizonas are a smidge too long in the 38 but a 37 would probably be too short. They are light as air and won’t need any breaking in, but I always feel like I am having to work to keep on sandals that have no back, even when tightened.
The Teva originals are very comfy and fit well. But I can’t get over the hiking sandal look. They just don’t look great with dresses to my eye.
The Camper Match are almost identical to the Tevas but have a slightly more rounded sole at the toe so look a little neater. But again, they are very walking sandal.
I sent the Fracap Ola back previously as I felt they were just a smidge tight for my wide feet, and I am still of the same mind. They are so lovely, but when my feet swell in the heat there is nowhere for them to go (hard to tell today as it is so rainy and chilly!).
The Fracap Lina are a much better fit as the laces make the width fully adjustable. I prefer the colour of the Ola (olive) slightly, but these are also a good neutral colour. They look good with dresses and trousers, and I am leaning towards keeping these, I think I just prefer the Olas and wish they fit as well.
I usually have only one pair of sandals for all summer eventualities, but I feel the Fracaps are a bit chunky and closed in for the beach/sun holidays, so I would probably need something else too.

Also a thank you to whoever mentioned the Ikea 6L food bags for knitwear. I bought some this morning and they are perfect. As I can squeeze all the air out of them I can even fit everything in my drawer more easily too.

Wearing the Ticking Stripe Dress today (blessed be the fruit) and the last day of my July challenge which turned out to be not much of a challenge. My conclusions from wearing 31 different Toast outfits this month:

• Don't buy any more shorts, jumpsuits or crinkle cotton dresses
• Viscose dresses (in vibrant patterns) are fun to wear- happy to accept an 'I told you so' from some of you on this point.
• Don't automatically size down to the smallest size that fits ok.
• Wearing a CottonCashmere Dress is like staying in your PJs all day.
• The combination of dark top/pale trousers looks much better on me than the other way around (this is a genuine revelation)
