Hi toasties, I keep refreshing the page to see if a faded floral block print quilt gets returned… I have to go to work but will try keep an eye out. Fingers crossed!

Yes, it’s actually at the back door, which is fully enclosed and not overlooked. Neighbour was putting our bin back round. Wouldn’t have wanted them to get wet though. It’s the way they are neatly lined up as if they were under a Xmas tree that made me laugh.

Got my indigo twill Alix. Interested @faustina if they’re the same size as your 6’s.
They’re quite a bit smaller than the size up I have which feel a bit loose. So not sure if they’re old sizing or old old sizing.
Did manage to get them on and the waist is comfortable on. May keep them as well as the ones I have in the meantime until I see if I can drop a little weight. This wouldn’t be the first time I have a thin item and a fat item.
The starfish nightdress is very dark coloured and after an assessment of my nightdress situation I will probably return.

Here's my ( unironed) olive linen shirt and the stack check trousers.. I really love that shirt with the fenugreek balloon trousers .. I have also kept the Windflower lounge dress (already in the 2ash having been worn ) and the brushed back grey trousers which although not the most flattering are super comfy and I know will be worn loads )

Ah yes, @Laska2Meryls my sister ordered those - I believe she is still debating whether to keep them, even though they look lovely on her too!

I’m so tempted by the Maya dress. I have one already, bought from the FB group and I’ve worn it so much. I’ve even hand washed the thing three times in the campsite laundry which shows dedication to the cause. I’m hesitating because two the same usually means for me that I get a favourite and neglect the other. But it’s so perfect for a Scottish summer. And though I def put comfort over ‘flatter’ I do find it oddly flattering.

@Countmeout - I sold my indigo twill Alixes to @ScottishMouse because they were much bigger than my cotton linen pairs. I do remember that they stretched quite a bit too, so you might have fat and thin trousers in one handy pair!

My delivery of two linen boy tees and the easy fit linen sleeveless top is really disappointing and it's going straight back. the linen tees are riddled with pulled white threads which really stand out (one dead on the chest) - and honestly I just looked at the sale price - £42 and it is just not worth it. the sleeveless top in blue striped linen is a glorious colour, but the easy fit XS is minute - totally unlike the easy fit XS (also new size) which I tried on only last week

What a waste of their and my time!

I’ve sized up to a large in that cornflower top, based on reviews. Arrived today but won’t see it till Thursday. I’m now wondering if I should have sized up in the shorts too. Or maybe I’ll hate them all (hopeful)

@ilovecherries - that top is such a beautiful colour, but I could barely get it on - it's so annoying!

Probably not much hope for me then - the linen strapless jumpsuit was too tight on the bust in a L (and massive elsewhere) when I tried it in store a while back, so assume this will be a similar cut.

Is that the sail stripe @faustina ?

I found the material in the sail stripe dress very unforgiving- no give in it at all - when I tried it on in store. I don’t quite know why I ordered it when I fully expect it to be too tight, but that blue is so beautiful!

I'm a big fan of the stack check, they look great on you@Laska2Meryls . The outfits look fab. What are the brushed back grey trousers? I don't recognise them and need clarity to focus my envy!

Ahh.. gotta love Toast .. in the end it all works.. Here's the stack check with an old black Toast poplin shirt ( bought in the days of good old JL sales and somehow I have never really worn much ) and Steve Mono shoes ( also Toast sale). I think that shirt has finally found its life partner !!

I think I am done (again) . I have a slight yearning for the bicycle backie but have no bike 😕

Waiting to see the ponds on. I love the colour and pattern but don’t think the low waist would work for me.

These are the brushed back trousers @dudsville .. I didn't buy them last sale because they seemed so expensive ( and they are really still) but really nice.. I could have sized down from the M which I bought, but they didn't have any smaller and now they only have L left ..

As you see they are big on me ( here worn with old Toast gathered shoulder tee) but I am m keeping them for slopping about in ..

Sizes are still so nuts ..Both of those stack check and fenugreek trousers are XS.. but I also have trousers in S and now M with those grey ones .. But I am now having to buy L or XL in tops! 🙄

@faustina Sorry about your disappointing order, I’ve had one of the linen boy tees in my basket but have now removed it. £42 is fine for. T shirt if it’s perfect but if not…

I’ve had 3 pairs of trousers delivered today - 2 are going back but the other is a beauty and staying.

I bought these to wear to wfh in the winter and they are gorgeous. Warm cosy fabric, drawstring waist and more burgundy than brown which is a good result https://www.toa.st/products/cotton-linen-herringbone-trousers-maple

They’re quite tweed-like but comfy and washable. Still expensive but I anticipate wearing them at least once a week most of the year. Love.

Loved the check linen trousers but again they are comically oversized (can’t see them online to link to).

One more order to come - ticking stripe trousers and black boat neck tee. Will definitely keep the top, feel very likely the trousers will be too oversized. When is the new sizing kicking in, no sign an anything I’ve bought so far…

My toast delivery today was just the Jack Welbourne jug , which I’m adding to my collection of studio pottery, and the tulip hat. Quite frankly I should know better, every toast hat seems too small, this one to the point of giving me an almost instant headache, and my head isn’t even that big.
It sounds as if there were quite a few disappointing deliveries today.

I’m also keeping an eye out for some returns, hoping some things are going to pop up soon.

I like that jug @Theteapotsbrokenspout . I have a hankering for the little vase but I have cupboards full of pretty pots and nowhere to display them, (I have serious knickknack problem!)

I like Jack’s mug, but can’t have that either as also have enough cups/mugs for the whole street🤣
