What size would you say I am from this photo?

I won't be offended, no ED or anything like that going on. I'm just wondering what size I look in this pic?

I have always found Tu clothes come up large and you have to go a size down.

It’s just because of the balloon sleeve shape and your boob size! If it had tighter sleeves I think it would be more flattering. I think a big print often makes people look bigger aswell. Xo

The upright shot looks lovely. I think someone’s neck and face give a lot of info so had we seen them the guesses may have been closer to your true size.

Based on first photo I thought 18-20. In second pic 12-14.

I'm almost reluctant to say anything, but since you did ask... It's not you, OP, you obviously have a lovely figure, but basically everything about that dress, from the length to the sleeve shape to the pattern to the fit to the length is unflattering. Yes, you look smaller in the standing photo, and your posture is better (I write as I'm slumped over my laptop like a blob of jelly 😂), but it's just not a great dress. If you love it and it's super comfortable, that's one thing, but if not, I'd say it's one for the charity shop.

I loved that dress but thank goodness I didn't buy it. I am a 16 so god knows how chunky some of these posters would have said I looked in it!

Why are people making comments about vanity sizing? Is it because you got it wrong and want the poster to feel shitty about themselves?

You look several sizes bigger when sitting down. You have a lovely slim shape in the full length photo, but the sitting down picture does you no favours.

Guess you're going to have to get used to standing! 😂

Next time you go dress shopping, I suggest you buy a dress with less material. You have nothing to hide, and this amount of material just adds layers to you, not the dress.

The full length photo looks great, and shows that the dress is in fact flattering on you. Sat down it may puff up a bit and be less flattering, but I doubt that anyone who saw you in real life would think that you looked much larger than you are.

I thought around a 12 straight away but that's probably because you looked very similar to me and I'm a 12.
You do definitely look slimmer standing up though.
I hate pictures of me sitting down. I look like a whale compared to standing!

It's the style of the dress. It's unflattering.It makes you look like you have bulky shoulders and a hint of a rounded belly on the sitting photo. Stood up, you look much slimmer, but probably still bigger than what you actually are.
