Based on knowing how I look in photos I’m going a lot smaller than most of the other guesses on here - 10-12? It’s a lovely dress.

I'm a size 10 top and 12 bottom. Yes, dress from TU, size 10, gorgeous dress and I felt lovely in it but I was shocked to see how much bigger I looked in all the photos!

No, not insulted at all. You know what's it like when you leave the house thinking you look one way and then see photos after and think bloody hell, that's not what the mirror told me!

Have you got a pic standing up in it?

I think it’s a combination of a) sitting down, b) wafty fabric, and c) bad posture which makes you look slumped and thicker at the waist which gives the impression you’re larger than you are in that photo. Standing up straight in something more fitted you’d likely look totally different.

I honestly thought 16,could be the dress though and your sitting down..

A photo will do that sometimes, don’t worry about it.

Wow op, I'm really surprised by your update. How does that leave you feeling about the dress? Fwiw, my mirror usually tells me i look absolutely fine and then someone takes a pic that tells a different story. If you love the dress then I hope this pic wouldn't stop you. Sometimes a friend of mine comments that what I'm wearing is "slimming", i get that most of what i wear isn't trying to be slimming but it can sometimes knock my confidence to wear the things that i know i love and enjoy.
