I have ordered this and can't decide whether it's lovely or terrible 😂. I am drawn to the fugly things in fashion. I love a fugly pair of shoes for example.

But is this just massively dumpy looking?

I am tall and can usually pull off this sort of shape, so that isn't my concern. It's the print I'm in two minds about.

What do you think? Terrible? Amazing? Neither? Return it? Keep it? Burn it and stage an exorcism?

It's a lounge dress- so for slobbing about the house or garden in? I think its fine for that.

spangleswereace · 24/05/2023 16:11

It reminds me of a hospital gown...sorry!

PaddlingPoollyColour · 24/05/2023 16:11

I've bought it with summer school holidays in mind, so yes, a lot of time in the house and garden. I'm not planning to wear it out to a wedding or anything

Aparantly the cut resembles a maternity dress so there's that too

SeulementUneFois · 24/05/2023 16:13

Sorry no.
But this kind of thing is never to my taste so you may discount me 😆

Just checking you never know 😉

Yeah it's fine for garden wear but it's definitely on the comfort almost nightwear side

Yes, I saw the bad reviews! Not all bad I hasten to add.

One of them said though that it draws in under the boobs and then has a lot of fabric in the hip area, which is my ideal shape, so I'm hopeful about that

The model doesn’t look happy at having to wear it 😉

WestHamAreMassive · 24/05/2023 16:16

Good god woman 😂

My Nan used to wear this to clean her step. You’ll need to accessorise with your rollers and a fag hanging out your mouth though.

Fillyfrog · 24/05/2023 16:18

£120 for a dress to slob around the house and garden in 😱

I actually think it's quite nice 🙈

Mnopgxcgdcv · 24/05/2023 16:18

I love it, and dream of being tall enough to wear such things without looking like I am being drowned in them. Go for it!

CurlewKate · 24/05/2023 16:19

To me it looks either too short or too long. Long and swishy or short and cute. This is halfway between the two...

Yes, I know, but I'm justifying it by saying it is an 'investment'. Hoping it will last forever

{takes notes} rollers, check, fag hanging out of mouth, check. Now, would you say the step cleaning is part of the whole look or could I still make it work without doing any cleaning 🤔?

There was sometimes a fag and hair rollers as part of the outfit.
It is granny chic.

Fanamarama · 24/05/2023 16:25

I really like it. Don’t know why they’ve made the model look so miserable though.

I think you either like this kind of thing or you don’t. I can see it on someone like Rachel de Thame, accessorised with trug.

FadedRed · 24/05/2023 16:25

I’m old enough to be most pp’s Nan, and I wouldn’t wear it. But no-one would ask for style recommendation from me Grin

Looks like you can sleep in it too when it gets too old to be decent out the house
