This dress from TOAST

I have ordered this and can't decide whether it's lovely or terrible 😂. I am drawn to the fugly things in fashion. I love a fugly pair of shoes for example.

But is this just massively dumpy looking?

I am tall and can usually pull off this sort of shape, so that isn't my concern. It's the print I'm in two minds about.

What do you think? Terrible? Amazing? Neither? Return it? Keep it? Burn it and stage an exorcism?

I can veer towards the fugly myself. But that dress has no charm, it’s just a big float with patterns.

It's arriving today apparently, so I will update when it gets here. Think they are quite good to return to so if it's vile I can send back

I don't think the print does it any favours, the combination of print and cut reminds me of a 1940s housecoat/apron thing.

How did you find the dress @PaddlingPoollyColour - I had grand ideas of wafting around in the same dress! Except when it turned up it was much duller in colour than the pictures and was huge 🥹🥹 and just didn’t fit right on me but I’m not tall and probably a bit too curvy for this kind of dress - didn’t get good ‘sack chic’ vibes! 😂

I’ve never seen the appeal of Toast and when it was trendy about 10 years ago
i had 2 friends a mum and daughter who loved the range and I’d politely nod, it was better then too!

It's nice but I feel the pattern and the sleeve length aren't in keeping with the style...
