What fashion trends that are seemingly hated on here do you like?

I LOVE a dipped hem!

Do I need to say *light-hearted? 🤣

I also love a cold shoulder top. I think they make me look really soft and pretty and summery. I also like cropped tops, vans, crocs, loud type clothes.

Not to criticise or be mean about it because I don’t mean it that way AT ALL, but quite often on S&B I think the advice/common things said are a bit dated or not quite with the times. I saw one recently with people insisting low checkered vans were so outdated etc and should be worn barefoot if they must be worn at all. But actually amongst most of the young trendy types I know they’re worn often and always with socks, usually sports branded, because they’re back in style. It seems sometimes that if you don’t want to wear a flattering slim leg jean with a ‘crisp’ white shirt and veja trainers, along with a ‘funky’ scarf and/or a ‘simple’ necklace (all in ‘good’ fabrics of course) then you don’t get fashion. But in fact I think it’s just that S&B often attracts a very particular type of style rather than people widely interested in different types of fashion.

I am quite nostalgic about bootleg trousers, not the original 1970's ones, the late 90's modified, refined and tasteful bootlegs.

I don't always want to look expensive. It's quite nice to look cheap (not as in short skirt and low top) because your clothes are supermarket specials and that's OK.

Short denim jacket, like waist length rather than blazer style. Will never not like me, so versatile

Uggs- although to be fair it was S&B that tipped me off to the ultra minis which have been attached to my feet all winter

Didn't realise that short denim jackets were out. I see loads of people wearing them. I will continue to wear mine over my midi and maxi dresses.

I used to have gorgeous denim dungarees from Gap. I wore them with spaghetti strap vests and platform trainers in summer. I’ve been searching for a new pair but no luck yet. Surprisingly hard thing to come by when you have a sort of long torso but short legs!
