The three little Dutch princesses are adorable

I don't want just working royals on the balcony. It's the Coronation & as they usually don't come round very often I want the whole damn family on the balcony & that includes all HMQ's grandchildren, Linleys, Chattos, Gloucesters & Kents & Camilla's family with her being Queen & anyone else I've forgotten too.

The front of the balcony can be working royals with everyone else behind them with Andrew hidden right at the back.

I understand where you are coming from Tracy - I feel a wee bit that way too.

Although I do think it will now be easier to swerve an awkward decision or two and so, in that respect, I do feel that the decision is correct.

@Gooseysgirl In the photograph you posted of the procession at the Dutch coronation are the 3 girls in blue Max and Wax's children ?

If so, how their hair has changed.

The rainbow one is bakelite and from the 1920s, students ask if it's an LGBT brooch!

I only have whimsical brooches (like Maireas’ Bakelite rainbow) but do wear them quite a bit to liven up some of the blazers I wear for work.

Well kids' hair tends to do that! Amalia and the youngest girl (Ariana?) are still blonde but mini-Max has got the Oranje (in more ways than one!) hair now.

These ones are a bit older. The sapphire and pearl drop I can also wear as a pendant.

@Maireas Oh they are all so very pretty, I love pearl leaf especially, and the pink rose looks as though it could be Limoges porcelain. Thanks so much for sharing Maireas.

A cameo. You never see those these days. I'm so unlucky with cameo. Lost two rings, one over the side of a boat, other stolen. Earrings, lost one of those. Oh and the cameo dropped out of one ring.

I have a great fondness for pearls. Gave my DIL my double row on her wedding day. I actually have a pearl parure. Earrings, necklace, bracelet set in rose gold.
