Well, we're in the run up to C day, now. Thanks to @chesterelly for the thread title suggestion 😊

I think we're spoilt with our royals who use dressers, stylists, etc for events as I suspect do Max and Leti. Others maybe on a tighter budget so left to their own devices.

I think you're being kind, @justasking111 . I've been to weddings on a budget where the outfits were better than this. Money can't always buy style.

The more I hear about the coronation the more disappointed I am, if even Kate isn’t wearing a tiara what’s the point? A floral headdress is ridiculous, she isn’t a bridesmaid, the royals are slowly killing themselves, they will never be able to ‘dumb down’ the Coronation enough to appease those who are against it and the monarchy in general, yet by doing things like this they alienate and disappoint those who do support it, I really don’t want a registry office type coronation.

You're spot on, @LadyVictoriaSponge . Making the Coronation ordinary/plain/ low key won't appease those against it and will just disappoint those looking forward to a bit of sparkle, colour and pomp. Lose/lose.

If Kate wears a ludicrous headband or a floral headdress like she's at a woodland wedding I will be most disappointed.
Get out the gems.
