If I can ever see well enough to thread my mam’s be-lofted sewing machine, I would deeply love to learn how to make kaftans. I want a wardrobe full of stretchyish cotton jersey ones.

Loved QC in red. Sooo much nicer than blue again. Kate might need a trim, that's getting so long - I got annoyed with mine when it was about that length and chopped a few inches off myself. ✂

There is my nan’s singer and a more modern one. It is only about 10.

I’ve built a shed. Replaced a roof. Learned to grout. But sewing skills escape me.

My home economics teacher, nan and mam gave up.

The HE teacher finished my skirt project. She only did it because my cooking was often her tea. (She provided extra ingredients - I made double portions) I’m ok at cooking 😉

I could have pearly hi-vis too. I can sew on buttons…

Unfortunately Max &Co is a wee bit out of my budget ....but fortunately they were out of stock in my size so I don't have to feel to upset !

My fashion sense is sloppy hoodies and joggers ....at a push I might put on some jeans if I need to look smart 🤣🤣!

@bizzey there's lots of those kinds of suits in Zara (not Phillips).

DS has come from Beavers with a crown that he’s made. It’s all the colours of the rainbow, with a helipad on top (complete with helicopter) and accessorised with an eyepatch.

Do we think it’s too late to get Buckingham Palace on the phone?

Sophie has been to the hairdressers and to the WI.
She looks good from the waist up. Not so sure about the trousers though and the socks and trainers are awful.

@bizzey - did you see my link to the M&S trouser suit upthread? Cream and loose fit. They have some great trouser suits at the mo and not too spendy.

Love the shade of Sophie's trousers, not so much the browns and beiges casual look.

Sophie has lost her way a bit lately and seems to struggle with getting the fit right. Her outfits are often just a smidge too tight and I think she'd be better off going up a size and then getting that altered to fit her properly. And a bra intervention before the coronation!

Who dresses up to go to the hairdresser's though. I used to have a top for the hairdresser's in case of dye mishap, leggings and comfy shoes, kindle and phone.

And I could bally well it would be raining blowing a hoolie when I came out 🤬

What was Sophie thinking with the lilac socks !
