Well, we're in the run up to C day, now. Thanks to @chesterelly for the thread title suggestion 😊

Love Eugenie & Bea, Anne ok, Sophie - love the colour not the style, the boots are terrible. Zara... I don't love high necks on her usually but I really love the colour and dress! Kate - a big no from me - didn't like it first time either, not a fan of royal blue on her and the style of the outfit just dies not work on her IMHO. And FFS put Louis in a pair of trousers he looks completely ridiculous, as are the tights on Charlotte... in contrast, the Tindall girls look great!

Zara really needs to embrace the v neck. Not sure about Sophie's boots.

Everyone else looks fine but is there anywhere in England where people actually go to church dressed like that on Easter Sunday??

It was nice to see George dressed casually at the football yesterday. Maybe Kate wants to sort of mark for them when they are "on duty".

Louis looks like an absolute mischief maker!!

I actually think the tights look better (and warmer) than the bare legs and short sleeves the Tindall girls have on. Its maybe warmer in London!

Sophie is having a bad sartorial day.
And the line of Kate's coat dress does nothing for her.

@Maireas @Spudlet thanks for checking, but lovely as it is that's not the parure I claimed - I'm sure it was in a gold setting!

I normally like Kate's style, but the severe bright blue coat dress is a no from me. I also wish she wore slightly shorter dresses - the longer ones seem to age her. Louis looks ridiculous in the suit jacket and shorts.

Love Anne's outfit. Zara looks a bit matronly and the buttons are awkward. Sophie's look is unfortunately a total miss. Camilla's dress isn't very spring like and seems to swamp her. The clashing blue of the bag and hat aren't great either. Beatrice looks fab, and it's nice to see Mia and Lena dressed like normal 21st century children!

Sophie looks as though she's dressed by Oxfam.
I'm giving Eugenie a bye.
That harsh candy pink does nothing for Zara, not to mention the awful buttons.
Bea isn't too bad, though the hat doesn't work with the frock.
Kate would look better in something shorter, though I like her hat.

I like Camilla's hat, but overall Anne wins for me, the super large buttons, the neckline, and the fabulously frivolous hat.

I'm bored now with the Family Firm's colour coordinated look at special events.

I like the colour of Sophie's coat, if not the cut, but the crown of the hat would be better if it was shallower and the matching boots are a no from me too.

Overall I'm inclined to agree with @AdaColeman that it's a sartorial disappointment from the Firm.

Is there a proper photo of Sarah Chatto's outfit? I really like the glimpse of it you can see in the video on the DM (https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-11953967/Royal-family-gather-Windsor-Castle-Easter-Sunday-service-Charless-reign.html) but she doesn't seem to have been properly photographed, the best one I could find is from behind as shes entering the church, shes wearing orange and cream

Zara's dress was bespoke so you'd think it would fit her a bit better. Eugenie is wearing another £600 headband - she really does love them. I think Kate's manicure is the only part of her ensemble that I like!

@miri1985 I have been scouring the net trying to get a better view of Sarah Chatto but nothing! C'mon paps... if you read these threads at all you must know SC is one of our absolute icons!!!

I miss QEII today... you just know we would have had something bright and colourful from her! While I love bright blue on QC, I think she's been overdoing it a bit recently and it would be nice to see some other colours for a change. She has worn some lovely pastel shades in the past and looks great in them. Although Zara's dress is not my favourite ever, she scores points from me being colourful! Charlotte didn't last long in that coat 😆 I'm beginning to wonder was there a showdown with Louis minutes before they were going out the door (that he won) which is his why he's in the bizarre outfit.

Finally happy wedding anniversary to KC and QC.... 18 years married today - that went fast!!

Also love Anne’s coat. She’s been selected to be the one to keep Andrew occupied I see! I slightly wish Fergie were careering along beside them, holding her hat on with one hand and waving manically with the other

like the colour of Zara’s dress and it’s a bit different. Nothing else exciting to add really.

It’s a pity Philip died on Charles and Camilla’s wedding anniversary - rather douses the memory.

I agree @Gooseysgirl. This, for me, was QEII at her glorious Easter best..

(And yes, Louis looks as if he won the battle of the outfits this morning. Either that or they got to Windsor this morning and realised that they'd left an outfit in Norfolk,)

Bea looks divine she's really found her style groove & it was good to see Wolfie included.
Love Anne's coat yes I can see her her keeping Andrew in check though I was surprised to see him in the middle but near the front.
Though thinking of when you speak you tend to give the first sentence & the last sentence more thought than the middle, so I suppose it makes sense obviously you have to have KC3 & QC at the front, and having Will & Kate with the kids at the back so you have someone/thing nice to look at:thing about. Well that's my take on it.
Only saw the back of Sarah Chatto but she's very stylish & knows what suits her.

I feel awful saying this but Kate's outfit was a no from me but the colour did suit her.

Camilla's grandsons Freddy Parker Bowles, Gus & Louis Lopes and great nephew Arthur Elliot, will be pages at the Coronation, along with Prince George, so it could be an indication of higher profiles for them.
Little Wolfie will be making useful connections at these royal gatherings!

I like Bea's outfit. Kate's dress made her look very stretched out, I think.

Sarah Chatto wins it for me. Still photos aren't good but several videos show her closer. The full skirt is a cream silk that I think she has worn before. With the orange and the hat, it's signature Sarah and the most stylish ensemble there, I think.

Louise will be in the thick of exam prep. Most uni exams up here are end April/ first week of May. I'm sure she'll likely have First Year Wrapped up by the Coronation. My DD graduation is on June 23rd.

Agree re Kate's dress. She is quite long-waisted and the dress emphasised that.

I love Sarah C's signature cashmere (I assume) cardigans with full skirts - it's a bit Dior New Look.

Just seen a closeup of Louis too and the pale blue shorts look oddly casual with the navy suit jacket and tie. It's like the mullet of outfits - business on top, party below!
