I've just bought a pair of Desmond and Dempsey leopard print pyjamas in the sale, using credit and a £10 voucher.

Really looking forward to this months box. What do we all hope will be in it? X

I would be interested in a facial SPF, a different product to try from Davines, bath oil or a facial mask.

I wouldn't want a handcream as I have lots or a mascara /eye pencil

Cyclingmummy1 · 12/04/2023 19:58

@BeaLola

Agree, plus I love a body scrub.

MavisMcMinty · 12/04/2023 20:27

I’m a sucker for a beautiful eyeshadow palette, even though I have several lifetimes’-worth of eyeshadow, I just love to have them, just to look at and sigh over.

Don’t want any more black eyeliners, much too harsh for me, but I’d love any other colour. Don’t need any more mascara or lipgloss, but have resigned myself to one or both being in the box.

BeaLola · 12/04/2023 20:45

CyclingMummy1 ooh I do love a good body scrub - my favourite tried and tested is Jo Malone Vitamin E body scrub but sadly it has been out of stock for zeons . Aromatherapy Associates rose scrub is ok.

How about a skinny slip silk scrunchie - I could use one of those

notanicepersonapparently · 12/04/2023 21:21

Or a nice shower cap in a Liberty print

RedCarsGoFaster · 12/04/2023 21:24

I've never used a shower cap - seems a bit niche!

BeaLola · 12/04/2023 21:25

How about a facial roller ?

Liberty print spa band

notanicepersonapparently · 12/04/2023 21:39

I put olaplex or elastiser on my hair and cover it with a shower cap while it works it’s magic.

D20 · 12/04/2023 21:41

I’d like a solid shampoo. I’d also like to try something from Jones Road before I make a purchase. I had the mini Malin deo in my overnight bag and it has run out now so something like that would be handy although not massively luxe!

I use my Liberty print shower cap all of the time so I’d be happy with another one and I’ve got a few of the mini slip scrunchies but they’re possibly too feminine… Liberty have gone out of their way to make their boxes as unisex as possible so far. I’d be intrigued to know the demographics for the beauty drop.

wheresmyshoe · 13/04/2023 06:46

I'd absolutely love a liberty shower cap, it would be a really useful item.

redredwineub40 · 13/04/2023 07:44

There are so many leave in for half an hour conditioner things to apply after
you've washed your hair - shower caps are good for that

Cyclingmummy1 · 13/04/2023 08:39

@BeaLola I would never had said a silk scrunchie, but now you've mentioned it, I need one 😂

Trollsinmyeggbox · 13/04/2023 11:11

I put shower caps over the bowl when I leave bread dough to rise 🤷🏼‍♀️

SwordBilledHummingbird · 13/04/2023 11:55

I bought a Liberty print shower cap quite recently so would be disappointed to get another so soon! I'd love to receive a body scrub or body oil, always happy with perfume too.

Twinsandsome · 13/04/2023 13:08

I would love something BS I know it’s so expensive but i really loved the wee HA we got from her in one of the latest boxes

Blossomtoes · 13/04/2023 13:31

I’m happy with just about anything except hair products. At the end of the day it’s all free anyway.

AntiStuff · 13/04/2023 16:16

I would love more davines hair stuff, and I also really liked the DS& Durga car fragrance. Not fussed about make up as I rarely like the colours, although I did love a Trish McEvoy lip and cheek stick, but I think that may have been in an advent calendar a few years ago.

The thing I'm a bit grumpy about is that none of the above are available on the Liberty website any more, so it very much feels like they use the boxes to get rid of things that they don't plan to continue stocking. Canny on their part, but irritating.

dontgobaconmyheart · 13/04/2023 16:35

I think April's box is going to be my last - unless it's fantastic and lures me back in.

I've bought all the things I want to buy with my credit since joining and now have £50 or so with nothing I particularly want so am thinking it's more sensible to cancel and rejoin in the future if I feel like it.

I spent some a few months ago on a necklace and some Jones Road Bronzer in the shade dusky rose, which is apparently the perfect bronzer shade for fair skin. In reality I'm not sure it delivers on that, it's a nice browny pink blush but doesn't really do much more than that on my very pale skin. If I'd swatched it in person I probably wouldn't have bought it but it's fine, and I'll use it.

SwordBilledHummingbird · 13/04/2023 17:15

I've also noticed that some of the things in the boxes aren't actually sold by Liberty, which does suggest that they're using them to clear old stock.

BakeOffRewatch · 13/04/2023 18:42

Trollsinmyeggbox · 13/04/2023 11:11

This is such a good idea @Trollsinmyeggbox

BurningTheToast · 16/04/2023 11:35

I seem to recall this quarter's boxes were due to go out last week - anyone received theirs yet?

SwordBilledHummingbird · 16/04/2023 11:46

I think it's the 18th, though I could have misremembered.

notanicepersonapparently · 16/04/2023 12:19

Yep - email said the 18th

Trollsinmyeggbox · 16/04/2023 13:41

I subscribed/paid/joined on 23rd March, but haven't had an email since then about it, will I miss the April one?
