The cleanser someone is trying to sell it for £15. Really doubt anyone would pay that price

Wow, some people are really greedy!!

They really are. Someone has put the entire box on for £20 - much more like it. The Seated Queen is so good I’ve just bought another one for £3.

Porkandbeans1 · 21/04/2023 18:50

I'm always surprised when people sell items they received for free. It never crossed my mind. I always give mine away.

Might be mine tho I think they have paid 2.5 for that one. I don’t like it much

I gave loads to my sister over Xmas but then realised that there was a market for things from these boxes and thought why not so sold a few things

Cyclingmummy1 · 21/04/2023 19:23

Vinted has really opened my eyes to what sells. I sold the hand cream from the last box and the bath oil from the sleep edit.

Same! We get these things for free and I enjoy sharing them with friends and family especially those who could never afford these things and find it a real treat. That or I donate them to the charity I volunteer for as a treat for other volunteers.

Pigtailsandall · 21/04/2023 19:55

@EasterIssland ha, no, not me. The shampoo was the thing I was least excited about so I might give to a friend.

Agree people are greedy - nothing wrong with selling something for a few quid to make sure it's used, but anything over £20 is just greedy

Lyn29 · 21/04/2023 21:35

Mine still hasn't arrived and I'm really excited about this book as well!!!

Reinventinganna · 21/04/2023 22:45

Is the seated queen the same one as the advent calendar? I’m too lazy to look! If so that’s still in my waiting stash as I’m using up my Emma Hardie moringa first.

Indeed

Martinisarebetterdirty · 22/04/2023 07:30

I’m not keen on the seated queen despite the fantastic name, I got some in a cult beauty hydration box and it doesn’t do anything for me so will give this one and the Sunday Riley to my SIL. I’m too lazy to sell on but love it when others do, I manage to use Barbara Sturm rich cream by buying up from eBay and vinted, it’s a bit too expensive to keep buying full price and my skin loves it (any good dupes please share!)

D20 · 22/04/2023 07:59

I’ve only tried the shampoo so far and I like it. Good size for travelling with too so I might keep it for my holidays. I do but expensive shampoo so I’m pleased I could try it.

I can’t use the face and eye products for a couple of weeks as I’m doing some products in exchange for review with Picky including a retinol eye cream and peptide emulsion so want to avoid mixing products.

Trying to wait until current bar soap actually needs a change rather than for the sake of it. Itching to use everything though!

For any newbies you can take the box apart and reassemble inside out to get the pretty liberty print on the outside. DH says the house is overrun by beauty boxes (I may also have had three latest in beauty boxes in two months). He needs to wind his neck in 😉.

The Liberty magazine book? It looks nice but the content was pretty crap imho. At least the broadsheet version I could use the newspaper for stove cleaning.

D20 · 22/04/2023 08:03

Realised I also have some bits still unused from the last box too - beauty hoarding issues.

I have masses from the Advent Calendar too. The Seated Queen was finished though so pleased to get more.

newtowelsplease · 22/04/2023 17:26

Quite happy with this box, although I've only tried the shampoo and the cold cream and neither seems to suit me. My hair is too fine for the shampoo, it feels lank and heavy after using it. Used the cold cream last night, a really thin layer and I loved the smell but woke up with a big zit so it's no good for my oily skin I think 😕

Still looking forward to the soap though

Bimblesalong · 22/04/2023 17:58

The eye treatment is awesome. I’ll have to save up for a boxful!

Yes I loved it. I have an autoimmune condition that really affects my eyes and I found it so soothing!

rosebush20 · 22/04/2023 20:39

I only signed up in January, and I got the January box a few days later but I haven't even had an email about the April box being out for delivery. I'll give it another few days and then I think I'll contact Liberty.

RudolfsLeftToe · 22/04/2023 22:03

I had to buy a new storage box for all the things I’m saving from the advent calendar and past beauty boxes (although I will list the night retinol eventually as that is not for me!)… but!! I’m on another thread that is encouraging me to use things and not save them for best and I’m finally using stuff and loving it!!
On the seated queen cream - it does sometimes give me a spot in the morning but more in a drawing out sense iynwim rather than a new spot so I still love it.

Mystery2345 · 23/04/2023 10:05

Used the Votary sample last night. Barely enough for one application. Felt it bobbling and would bobbly very easily under make up - skin this morning feels so-so - I certainly wouldn't purchase.

Reinventinganna · 23/04/2023 11:18

@Mystery2345 that’s a shame because I love votary products!

@RudolfsLeftToe what thread is that? I don’t save for best but I do save smaller products for the gym or travel. Sometimes that goes wrong though! On a recent work trip I took some Neil yards minis and my skin didn’t like them much but I had to spend a few days using them until I returned home.
