I normally feel a bit 'meh' when I open the box and it takes me a couple of days to come round. This box, I love an eye mask and I'm looking forward to the shampoo so feeling it's a winner.

SweetSakura · 18/04/2023 18:54

I used the eye mask this evening, really loved it, so soothing.

And I love a decent shampoo, so looking forward to trying that.

EasterIssland · 18/04/2023 18:58

There are already 2 shampoos and a few seated queen on vinted. Mine will go as well at some point

Bimblesalong · 18/04/2023 19:04

Still not got mine. Tomorrow?

Blossomtoes · 18/04/2023 19:08

Loads of shampoo on eBay. The going rate seems to be a tenner.

WeAreBorg · 18/04/2023 19:34

I like it! Love making the box into a flowery box
The cold cream isnt my favourite but it’s quite boring buying cleansers, so it’s fine for a thing to use up.
I can’t really make eye masks stay on - also did we get a 111skin mask in the calendar? The one I had was dry as a crisp!
Sunday Riley and Davines are always good so pleased with them
soap is soap - it looks pretty though

Someaddedsugar · 18/04/2023 19:50

I haven't got mine either @Bimblesalong. Hoping it arrives tomorrow!

Pinenu · 18/04/2023 19:57

Mine arrived and I’m really happy with its contents. Everything will be used and all but one of the brands I’ve never tried so it could lead to some new favourites.

Pigtailsandall · 18/04/2023 20:13

I'm pretty happy, but maybe as someone who hasn't had the advent calendar before and has generally not bought v expensive beauty products before I'm easier to please?

I'm least excited about the shampoo because I have a sore scalp and often just use medicated shampoo, but ill rotate this one and use it - it looks nice. We also use bar soap instead of liquid one so that will definitely be used, even if it's not too exciting. I'll certainly use everything else and am excited to trial them.

countdowntonap · 18/04/2023 20:51

Did any of you get an email to state your box was out for delivery?

PomRuns · 18/04/2023 20:55

I think it's overall good - plus it's free so I don't mind the odd boring item,.

Stokey · 18/04/2023 21:21

Can someone explain The Seated Queen to me? I'm a bit confused as to whether it's a cleanser or overnight mask or both?

I'm happy with the Sunday Riley and will use the shampoo, eye mask and soap. No wow product though, I think I have a large jar of the Votary waiting to be used.

Both. I use it as an overnight mask but can be used as cleanser

Blossomtoes · 18/04/2023 21:25

The Seated Queen is a fabulous cleanser.

Same as me maybe my expectations are low but I’m happy! Was close to cancelling but still enjoying this and will stick till Christmas.

RudolfsLeftToe · 18/04/2023 21:41

I’m happy with this box because I’ll use all the items. The Votary sample is a bit of a let down but only because I love their stuff and don’t think I’ll be able to tell whether it’s worth buying based on a one time use.
Normally I end up adding half the bits in the box to my future stash but will use most of these this week!

Following - with an as yet unburned tomato candle

The tomato candle is gorgeous!

CeeceeBloomingdale · 19/04/2023 07:39

Totally underwhelmed by the box. They have sent a ridiculous amount of cleansers this year and hair care doesn't interest me. I signed up just over a year ago so missed the first box with the bag but would love to see another at some point. I'd also like to see some make up and more perfume. The only make up I've ever received was a sparkly blue eyeliner which isn't my thing.

Martinisarebetterdirty · 19/04/2023 07:58

I’m not overwhelmed either this time, but you can’t win them all and I’m delighted with the eye mask. I’m also going to try most things because I’ve loved a couple of the other things I was a bit meh about.

Kranke · 19/04/2023 08:47

I have so many unused face and eye masks. I’d really like more perfume, serum, and moisturiser. I like the shampoo, I use it regularly and have nearly run out, so that was a bonus!!

Porkandbeans1 · 19/04/2023 09:19

I love the box. The cold cream is amazing, I use tret and still get the dry peeling skin on occasions. I will definitely be buying this again. I love bars of soap, I'm currently using through a massive one that I bought from tkmaxx but I will get round to this one after. The shampoo will probably be used when we stay in a hotel.

As for wishes for future boxes. This was my first box so in the future I would love a wash bag. I have a few but love them for organising my stash. I've never found an eyecream that I like. The skin is a little crêpey under my eyes and I would love something that firms without making them puffy? I love perfumes and have enough but a good sample could always twist my arm. I would love to try some lip oils, I always use balm but have seen some oils in Korea (stupidly didn't purchase) and now I'm intrigued.

Blossomtoes · 19/04/2023 09:30

I've never found an eyecream that I like.

Try Filorga Time Filler Eyes. I’ve used it ever since I got a sample in a gwp and can’t recommend it too highly.

Housewife2010 · 19/04/2023 09:31

My face felt fabulous this morning after using the Seated Queen as a night cream last night.

Happy enough with my box but I didn't have an advent calendar (and don't buy them). Soap is nice and always good to put in a drawer with socks etc if not needed straight away. Eye mask good and glad to try the other facial products. I wish they'd not give away hair stuff though - everyone has different hair. I see what some mean about them giving products they don't even sell, maybe excess stock.

Thank you! I've just bought a little travel size tube so will give it a try.
