Best bar soap?

Tell me your favourite bar soap, that can be used to wash the whole body in the shower/bath.

Is it better to use an actual soap, or a 'beauty bar' (Dove?) I get thrush easily so I would like a gentle one if possible.

Pears has always been my favourite. I love the smell.

I like the shea one from body shop it lasts ages.

But I also like cussons imperial leather the white one.

I really love the blue 'antibacterial' pears one, much prefer the smell to the orange one.

Otherwise I buy big blocks in scents I like
for about £4 from Tk maxx and and cut them into smaller pieces.

I love the smell of Blue Pears, but it really dries my skin.

Waitrose sell the Little Soap Company soap. Faith in Nature is good, but I only buy it on sale or at refill shops where you can get it unwrapped and for much cheaper

I like most of the L’Occitane ones , particularly the milk soap . At the moment I’m using an English Soap Company citrus one though which is lovely .

I use a french lavender one.... smells absolutely gorgeous and doesn't irritate my skin. Found it at a local farmers market.....and it lasts and lasts ❤️

I love the soaps from Boo Cottage Botanical - especially the Lemon Zing. They're proper cold-processed soap using just oils, butters, lye & essential oils.

Chateau du Savon deliver really good Marseilles soap. Plastic free packaging and not expensive.

So do I. I love Imperial Leather as well. I like clean, fresh smelling soaps, and really dislike those that smell of food, especially the fruity ones. I also like the M and S Royal Jelly soap.

Personally I prefer a hard waxy feel rather than a soft moisturising one. You can't beat Sainsbury's own brand IMO.

I find that Imperial Leather disintegrates in a week.

I love the vegetable oil and Marseille soaps from TK Maxx. They last ages and smell incredible.

I can't use soap bars but I love the smell of pears, the shower gel is nothing like it. I didn't know there was a blue pears I'll have a look out. DH uses pears. X

I don't think the Dove beauty bars are as good as regular soap. If I use bar soap in the shower I don't need deodorant but I do if I use the Dove beauty bars

Apparently the Tesco lemon one is nice (recommended on here) but I keep forgetting to get some.
