What have you wasted money on recently?

I had my very pale eyebrows shaped and dyed but it wore off after a few days and the wax caused ingrown hairs. I'll stick to dying and shaping them myself.

I also had my eyelashes dyed and permed (up, not curled over iyswim) I liked the dye and will have that done again but the perm was just completely pointless. 🤣

What have you splashed out on recently and afterwards wondered why?

I was given a Mac lipstick in Twig as a present from a dear friend. I was so excited because I know that's an iconic neutral shade.

Wtf? How is it neutral? It is a weird dark lilac crossed with acidic brown. It is honestly just ghastly. And it says its 'satin' but feels so draggy and tight on my lips.

I literally scrubbed it off and put on vaseline instead. If I'm going to look like the Joker I'd at least choose an actual red.

It smells divine but the results are absolutely meh. I have supermarket serums that do better.

I brought the beauty pie under eye, superluminous genius corrector, supposed to be a dupe for the becca one, because a blogger raved about it, £26 and all it do is make my eye liner and mascara run down my face it's so oily.

Horses for courses innit. My hair drinks that stuff up and looks fabulous. Other ones I've used tend to leave my hair feeling sticky.

Il Makiage was my particular waste of money.
