Why is a proper cool toned lipstick so hard to find these days?

Anything with a hint of warmth is useless on me and makes me look very 'odd' 🙄 Even MAC doesn't have anything suitable, they're all too warm or too nude.

I got a Bourjois one this morning which I think will be ok, properly pink.

Primark used to be fantastic for lip crayons which were fantastic pinky nudes but no more 🙄

Am I missing somewhere obvious I should be looking? Even Rimmel Asia is no good for me but Soft Hearted is.

Top one is cool enough but too dark unfortunately and the others are too brown 😭

Can anyone recommend a reasonably priced cool lipliner?

I need one too for when I wear the max factor glossy thing. Omg that will be my next obsession,they will all be nude!!

I will have a hunt tomorrow in Superdrug, Milani might have something.

This is Maybelline Vinyl ink in coy. My current favourite and it stays put through pretty much anything. Put a photo of it on for you too, ignore the chins, was just trying to zoom in enough to get my face out of the photo!

That’s cool toned but would be too lilac/lavender for me personally.

The one that looks pale pink in the swatch in her arm is anything but pale pink and is like a dark coloured concealer!

Re; lip liner, I'm wondering if Rimmel Ms Mauve might be good? Or NYX Mauve? Both are around £5 so not to expensive to try I spose - although I do already have a huge collection of unwearable lip products Confused

I have Ms Mauve and I love it. It's the perfect shade for me and matches most of my lipsticks.

Gah. I have fallen victim to peer pressure and ordered Max Factor mauve moment and Rimmel east end pink pencils. Will report back when they are delivered at the end of the week!

I think I may buck the rules. I read up and appear to be cool and rock purple lipstick. But also get compliments on wearing orange and scarlet. People think of me as warm toned. I'm still pondering whether there's rhyme or reason to it @luckylavender !

Interested to see what mauve moment looks like, from googling I think it's too dark and to red but online photos vary so much.

I also bought Barry M yellow unicorn adapting lippy, it's very pink but my friend said it looks great. Perfect coolness though. Might take some getting used to.

I'm cool toned but I can wear certain oranges, coral ones. Rimmel in love with ginger, Mac Vegas Volt, Smashbox Get fired, Elizabeth Arden Neoclassical coral. I'm a cool winter so I think having dark hair and eyes and ivory skin really helps.
