Why is a proper cool toned lipstick so hard to find these days?

Anything with a hint of warmth is useless on me and makes me look very 'odd' 🙄 Even MAC doesn't have anything suitable, they're all too warm or too nude.

I got a Bourjois one this morning which I think will be ok, properly pink.

Primark used to be fantastic for lip crayons which were fantastic pinky nudes but no more 🙄

Am I missing somewhere obvious I should be looking? Even Rimmel Asia is no good for me but Soft Hearted is.

I’ve bought a few alleged pink toned Kiko lipsticks and all are peach or orange toned on me.

I know you've said you've tried all the MACs but I'm so cool toned I look like an angry clown if I wear anything with any warmth, and MAC Coffee & Cigs or Bates Breath are the only colours I can wear without looking like a homicidal Ronald McDonald.

Honestly,I've tried them all and what isn't too warm is too dark/light. My friend works for them,we've spent serious time going through them all.

Test the shade on your finger pad which will be the same tone as your lips, it's a good way of seeing of it looks right. If it doesn't suit ,it just looks wrong-tip from Bobbi Brown.

I need cool colours as I'm pale with pink undertones so need a blue based lippy. I also have thin lips so can't wear anything too dark as I look hard.

That's me,I don't know how you tell of you are neutral/warm.

This is the Kiko one. I looked dead. It’s too dark.

I always tend to fell back on this. I just use a light layer over lip salve. It looks so dark but it isn’t. It makes my lips itch though

I wear cool tones too.

BB blue raspberry is a MLBB on me and feels good, I love it and will replace when it’s done.

rimmel Vintage Rose is the shade I love but it doesn’t last well on me at all so am still looking for a better quality lipstick in this shade.

for a dramatic red, I like MAC ruby woo.

I have just been colour analysed as Soft Summer, and have been on a lipstick buying spree! I’m quite new to all this but I believe these are cool tones and worth a look….
Rimmel - Mauve Bliss
Mac - Mehr and lip liner Soar, faux is not too bad either
Maybelline - Mystic Mauve
Loreal- Berry Blush

don’t be dissuaded by the names, some of these are quite nude on me.

I also suit (with my cool tones) Charlotte Tilbury Pillow Talk and Rimmel Vintage Pink but it’s a bit shiny. Velvet Teddy looks shocking on me too, and people always say it suits everyone! 😂

Have you tried the maybeline made for me colours? I need a cool toned lipstick and regularly wear “mauve for me” and “pink for me” also like the red for me and plum for me but might be to dark/ bright. I also love their ink crayons- have some will swatch for you.
