I love Anne's outfit, especially the fab scarf. No doubt Anne put in her personal poppy order, so she will be sure to have the largest corsage on the balcony later this year!

I'm not keen on Sophie's dress, the horizontal stripes on the top coupled with the vertical stripes on the skirt don't do anything for her at all, and the skirt length is too long. The fabric looks as though it might be a remnant from a Royal Navy signal flag, possibly the one for "we have run out of cocoa".

I like the Archangel Gabriel dress, it's something completely different from her usually quite conservative look, and lovely for a visit to the opera. I like the fur coat too!

Did she? Ah now it's just the island that's Borneo. Did she see Orang Utans? That forest is incredible.

Wow! Those are some impressive sparklers! If that is a stomacher/brooch, I wonder how sturdy that dress fabric must be for it not to pulled out of shape by the sheer weight of it?

Victoria's St Lucia gown is quite lovely IMO, a bit different which I always like.

Sophie - Happy Birthday Soph, if you're reading! - Like it, although with some minor caveats. I think it suits her and she looks good in it.

I think it's the newsreader hair that makes her look older than she is. She has lovely skin though. I wonder if Mary has given her advice on how many birthday celebrations she should have?

The blue in Leti's blouse really suits her colouring. She looks great.
The blue is picked up in the earrings. Really stylish.

Nice boots there Camilla! And I like the whole outfit.

One of the nice things with Leti is that she really mixes up her outfits, patterns, colours, fabrics, styles etc. Some don't always work (in my humble opinion) but she's not predictable I admire that she tries lots of things.

@KillingMeDeftly I feel awful, I thought she was a lot older than 50. You're right, perhaps it is the hair style that ages her. Lovely pictures though.

Cams has worn the coat and boots very recently. But I like it better here, without the hat (although I like the hat) and with the addition of the lovely scarf and the little bit of pattern/colour of the dress peeping out.

I quite like this outfit. She doesn't venture far from her groove, but always looks well put together.

I think Cams and HMK were in Manchester today? @gluenotsoup we should have made a plan to get down to see them!

I know what you mean about her hair, though I quite like the white outfit she has on, and she has a lovely calm serenity about her. I can't imagine she's going to follow EBGM's lead on the billions of celebrations for her 50th, but let's see! She seems a little more reserved to me.

The Brunei pictures were confusing - it's a different couple isn't it - the bride is just as beautiful but the more recent groom is slimmer and more attractive- plus the cat is gorgeous.

I spent time in Brunei in the early 90s. Fascinating place. The sultan's birthday seems to go on for days every year. Makes Mary look low key.

Yes! Always a good celebration, you get a day off and there are loads of events.

Brunei weddings are sparkly. The brides bouquet is made out of gems
