I remember having a corduroy pinafore in the early 80s but in my defence I was only a child!

I like the blue dress on Sophie! It’s a lovely shape and colour, and her hair looks goud too.

It would be beautiful in velvet.

Love this dress on Max - she looks fantastic. Amalia's dress is a great colour but just looks to have so much floaty fabric that it swamps her.

Have enjoyed seeing the pictures from their tour though - they look as though they have had a fun time together.

I think it’s always hard for Royals of Amalia’s age to get it right. They need to look appropriate but age appropriate. I think she has an added dimension of not being shaped like other princesses but overall I think she usually looks lovely.

That caftan is very Margaret in Mustique.

Sophie looks fabulous in that lovely long dark blue dress. Super swishy hair too.

I like the colour of Amalia’s, but agree it’s a bit too much fabric. She may well have suited Max’s actually, it’s gorgeous

Although I like Sophie in that deep sapphire blue shade, I think the dress swamps her a bit, and would be better slightly shorter. I can see the effect the designer is trying to create with the deep gathered frill, but I don't think it works well on Sophie.
I think she should wear more of the deeper colours, rather than the pale shades she seems to favour that often make her look quite washed out. The more vibrant colours give her a more vivacious aura.
Her hair looks a bit different there too, maybe some brighter highlights, very pretty.

The only thing I like about Sophie's dress is the colour, similar deep blue to Camilla's dress last week.

I like the colour of Mary’s green dress, but agree the length is a bit wrong, just on the knee would look good I think. That length is difficult to wear in my opinion, it makes me look frumpy.
In other doppelgänger pics… is this Charlotte, or Sarah Chatto?? The resemblance is uncanny..

It really is! I thought Charlotte definitely, but then the article said Sarah, and they really are alike.

Sarah really looks like Margaret in later life now but when she was younger she certainly didn't resemble the young Margaret. Genetics is a funny old thing...
