I'm a 10 in Toast dresses and RL size 12 and the M is a comfortable fit on me.

That jumpsuit looks great on the model, but I did think 'straightjacket' when I saw the first pic

The denim jacket I ordered has been despatched! I was beginning to think it might be cancelled, so that's nice, and my lambswool neckerchief has arrived and is beautiful! I will take a pic tomorrow when it's light. I could really have done with that today - was in the City (of London) and had forgotten how windy it gets with all the tall buildings

I have succumbed to trying the landscape check dress as a medium has become available. I love the fabric so much so maybe with the right styling I can get it to work for me.

There's a lot of darkish green in the new stuff - green clogs, a green Bleu de Chauffe bag (in a style I plan to buy but not green). It doesn't shout spring does it?

Thanks MrsCat, that’s helpful re the alterations. I think possibly alterations aren’t going to work. I do value the skill and expertise of the seamstress, but at the same time feel I need to be realistic about alteration cost vs resale value if I were to sell them instead. There are a couple of dresses that would be worth more to me to alter but they both need armholes and smaller bust adjustments too. I took them into the place I usually go to, and she wouldn’t give me a quote which made me a bit nervous, I don’t want to be writing a blank cheque, but I don’t know if that’s normal - I’ve only had off-list alterations done before so I always know what it will cost.

I can't find upthread the folks involved in the chat about wearing the orangey shade of trousers. I've got this on and i think it works? Poor light, but that's the pear alpaca wool sweater.

Also, the blouson sleeve check coal/ochre shirt arrived today. It's so different irl. I haven't tried it on yet but it is not as screemingly yellow as it seems on the website, so also posting a pic of that as its £50 now.

I made one final order from the sale last night - the tie neck cord shirt. My Olive Check dress in the larger size has a lot so just arrived so I'll try that on this evening.

I am a green fan so happy with the new colours, but not some of the prices. Other than basics though I am currently very happy with my wardrobe so as long as my size stays constant this year I am going to try and have more of a low-buu year!
