(That was to @TracyBeakerSoYeah Max's gorgeous necklace! I wouldn't say no to the tiara either, tbh, even if it does look a bit like a bridge...)

TangledWebofMincemeatDeception · 21/12/2022 10:18

@Maireas great minds!

AdaColeman · 21/12/2022 11:11

I was immediately reminded of the scene in Tess of the d"Urbervilles when Tess wears the diamond necklace, and as she moves each stone gives a 'sinister wink like a toad" when I saw the photo of Max's diamond necklace.

The setting and cut of the stones must be exactly what Hardy imagined. The dates of the book and the necklace are about right.

AdaColeman · 21/12/2022 11:14

@TracyBeakerSoYeah
I so hope everything settles down for you Tracy, and you can forge ahead with your life.
Thanks

AdaColeman · 21/12/2022 11:22

Princess Elizabeth looks lovely in her blue dress, very elegant, yet appropriate for her age.
I'm not keen on Mathilde's glittery red number, there's just too much shiny fabric overwhelming her.

Charlene looks super, tres chic!

RomainingCalm · 21/12/2022 11:45

Très chic is exactly the right description of Charlene. I shall add it to my Royal S&B dictionary with 'Very County'.

TangledWebofMincemeatDeception · 21/12/2022 14:01

Eugenie's been out and about in that coat again, and having seen more of it I’ve decided I really love it! I’d definitely wear it.

I felt very PoW today when I went out in my camel trench coat, plaid/tartan scarf in exactly the same shade of camel, camel woollen socks peeking out over my (chunky, ankle) boots, black handbag to match scarf and boots and, finally, red gloves picking out the exact red of the stripes in my scarf. Usually I like things to be a bit more interesting than that, so I have to award myself minus 100 points for today’s effort!

Haven’t seen Charlene’s très chic look yet!

KnickerlessParsons · 21/12/2022 14:24

Eugenie is surely "up the duff", and quite far along, isn't she?

TangledWebofMincemeatDeception · 21/12/2022 14:27

I don’t like to speculate too much @KnickerlessParsons but absolutely, I think a happy announcement must be imminent...

Perhaps she’s waiting ‘til after all KC’s/the family’s ‘firsts’ of Christmas without HMQ?

LadyEloise1 · 21/12/2022 15:04

@TracyBeakerSoYeah
Hoping things are looking up for you.

Not sure Daisy in the photos you posted was a great beauty. Perhaps it's a bad photo.
I think Zara is beautiful.

AdaColeman · 21/12/2022 15:05

Can a Princess be "Up the Duff" or have "A Bun in the Oven"? Surely not?

A Princess is more likely to be "in a delicate condition". or "in an interesting condition".

My apologies to Eugenie.

‘Up the golden carriage’ perhaps? Xmas GrinXmas Grin

AdaColeman · 21/12/2022 15:35

Perhaps Up the Sceptre rather than Up the Pole! Xmas Grin Xmas Grin

Eaumyword · 21/12/2022 17:13

😂😜
I think queenie used to refer to being preggers as being 'with child', shuddering quietly at the word 'pregnant'.
I personally favour being 'up the sceptre'!

Thesearmsofmine · 21/12/2022 17:13

I came to this thread to see if others also think Eugenie is pregnant. Glad to see I’m not alone. She looks to be quite far along too.

Maireas · 21/12/2022 17:22

Up the Sceptre 😂😂!

That just makes me think of Charles and Camilla's tampon talk.

iknowimcoming · 21/12/2022 17:49

Perhaps a princess would have a new jewel in her crown/tiara/jewellery box rather than a bun in her oven? Xmas Wink

fancyacuppatea · 21/12/2022 18:02

Pretty sure she's up the duffingtons...otherwise that coat is hideously bad. Maybe she has a new tiara in the vault Xmas Wink

chesterelly1 · 21/12/2022 18:14

I've thought that either Beatrice or Eugenie were in a delicate condition since the funeral, and they both made an exit. The only reason I could come up with was that one had morning sickness and the other was supporting.

mikado1 · 21/12/2022 20:15

Maireas · 21/12/2022 17:22

Up the Sceptre 😂😂!

I don't like the sound of that! 😂
(She definitely is!)

StartupRepair · 21/12/2022 20:45

EBGM is having a lovely beach holiday in Sydney. Daily Mail has many pictures of her in a very nice green swimsuit.

Maybe not a bun but possibly a Queen Cake

It is a nice swimsuit! Looks like it's double layered to be more flattering (not that she needs help with that).
Wonder where it's from
