Yes indeed, it will be very strange to have a King’s Speech this Christmas.

Thanks for the new thread Maireas! Just in time for Nobel Prize weekend!

I’ll start us off with the Norwegians and the Peace Prize laureates - Civil Rights representatives from Ukraine and Belarus. ✊ Mette Marit looking lovely in a Cefinn dress (that I also own!) and then she and Sonja both looking wonderful in bright teal and red at the ceremony.

Place marking. Kate looks very festive in her red dress promoting the Carol concert.

Meanwhile, for the rest of the awards in Sweden…tiaras!

Silvia is looking very elegant in purple and their amethyst tiara, Victoria is very pink indeed with the blinged up six button tiara, and Sofia in yet another version of her super versatile wedding tiara - with aquamarines this time! So far we we’ve seen it with emeralds, pearls, plain and turquoise. I like her dress too, although the poor thing is fighting a Japanese knotweed outbreak on her neckline. 😀

MM looks fab in that shade of red! It’s great to see her looking well 😊

Kate looks very festive in the red, I like it. If I was being critical someone has made a bit of a half-arsed attempt at decorating the tree behind her.

Sofia's tiara is very pretty. The pink dress on Victoria is serious 'princess' and not one of my favourites on her.

I'll be thinking it's the film and not watch. 🙈 Disaster. I used to love settling down and looking at her frock, the photos and the gold piano. It won't be the same just looking at Charles's pocket hankie.

I never knew the Swedish family dressed up like that for the Nobel awards. How fab. They're like from Queen Victoria times. I just love those colours.

I'm not a fan of the button tiara. Boring I think. Not as boring as the flat amethysts though. Sofie on the other hand has a fab tiara. Bet it's light to wear too.

It's the tiara CPV is wearing in the photo with the pink gown. Not sure what it is called unfortunately?
