Cointreauversial some of my message disappeared. Did you have Philosophy today? Mine was Origins.

ApolloandDaphne · 02/12/2022 09:20

I'm thrilled with the face wash. I always find it hard to get travel sizes of nice face wash. Mine was Origins too.

Itchintobestitchin · 02/12/2022 09:26

My drawer was very difficult to open too. The ribbon came off and the front started to tear at both upper corners when I tried to ease the very stiff drawer out. Guess I won't be keeping it to store my threads in after all. ☹️

Thanks for the warnings today's facial wash is harsh on sensitive/mature skin. I'll try a patch test tonight.

TokyoSushi · 02/12/2022 09:27

Ah thanks for the warning, I must remember to open the calendar before my shower in the morning!

CointreauVersial · 02/12/2022 11:52

Sorry.... I meant Origins!! No idea where Philosophy came from. It's too drying for me.

FredaFox · 02/12/2022 12:09

Well stupid me didn't realise it was a draw set up so couldn't find 2 thinking it had been put in the bottom layer so took it all out then saw the draw, can somebody take a pic of the top layer so I can get everything back in 🀣

TrashyPanda · 02/12/2022 12:12

My ribbon came off and the box ripped too. Such a shame as I had planned to reuse it for my niece Angry

How do you open the bottom section? It simply won’t budge and the ribbon has come off through trying!

It’s a drawer. It pulls out

@FredaFox I did exactly the same!

TheBelmont · 02/12/2022 15:20

Hello! Good to find you all!
I liked yesterdays eye cream…much better than the one that came in the summer box. Nice dispenser too.
Thanks for the heads up on todays offering not being great for dry skin…I will give it a go tonight and lather on face serum if it is drying. I’ll be disappointed if it is, I was excited when I opened it this morning!

TheBelmont · 02/12/2022 15:20

And yes my box is knackered already too!

TracyBeakerSoYeah · 02/12/2022 17:07

Happy with the Origins Face Wash as I haven't tried it before & it will come handy when travelling!

JulittadeMontrigord · 02/12/2022 21:11

Is anyone doing the running costing, this year, to see if it really is worth over Β£300?
Loved both products, so far, even on my very mature skin!! πŸ˜ƒ

notanicepersonapparently · 02/12/2022 22:35

Ren brightening eye cream retails for Β£44 but on offer at a few places such as Space NK for Β£35. The origins checks and balances is 150ml for Β£15.20 at Boots (reduced from Β£19) which makes the 30ml worth Β£3. Total so far Β£38, so not far off the Β£40 cost of the calendar already.

LizzieSiddal · 02/12/2022 23:11

I’m loving the eye cream and am hoping it works! Am going to save the face wash for my travel wash bag.

MissHavershamReturns · 03/12/2022 00:02

I’ve been scared of trying the eye cream as v sensitive skin/eyes but as everyone is saying it’s ok I might give it a go.

Wash from origins slightly meh for me

TracyBeakerSoYeah · 03/12/2022 00:16

Day 3 is good too.
Not long back from panto rehearsals & although I was going to leave the calendar to later on this morning, well I just couldn't resist!

GetUsedToTheHeatAgain · 03/12/2022 02:23

Day 3 for me too, like it, like the brand........

Good to know the cost is almost covered by day 2, todays it a little under a full size.

Chickydoo · 03/12/2022 05:43

Day 3 is a hit for me. Going to try it later

CardiCorgi · 03/12/2022 06:33

Can I join in? My lovely mum brought the calendar over.
Today's is great too - opened it after dropping dd off for very early sports training.

PurplePinecone · 03/12/2022 06:55

Happy to see this thread😊 I have enjoyed opening the two so far. Have used the eye cream twice and liked it so far. Face Wash haven't tried yet but will probably keep for travel use as I have many others. Look forward to opening day 3 later!

Glad to know the cost of products so far nearly already cost the price of the calender!

notanicepersonapparently · 03/12/2022 08:21

Todays Nails Inc nail polish is 10ml, so going by the price quoted on John Lewis that’s Β£10.70. I’m going to round that up to Β£11 which makes our running total Β£49.
I don’t find I wear dark nail polish as much but I might feel more enthusiastic once I’ve actually tried it out later.
