Just catching up with this thread! I ended up buying myself the advent calendar on ebay after having a tantrum about just missing out on buying it in-store πŸ™„ but I have to say I'm not loving it as much as last year's, my first. I've got a mounting pile of 'probably nots' including the perfume which I hated but will pass on to a friend's daughter, and the lippy which is very much not me (I'm still using last year's though!). Elasticiser sounds great but I still have last year's, being apparently too badly organised to wet my hair and sit around in a shower cap before my shower (I then have to sit around with HRT gel drying on my thigh for 20 minutes afterwards, so I may never leave the bedroom at this rate!). But I do love the PK shampoo and conditioner. The rose-scented 'powdery' moisturiser is really nice, and I'll use the nail varnish as soon as my cracked and stubby nails warrant it (I do a craft which wrecks my hands).

Cheesymonster · 12/12/2022 08:10

Very happy with today’s offering.

MrsWidgerysLodger · 12/12/2022 08:20

Not too bothered about the smell of today's but it's a nice size for travelling over Xmas to see family so I'll probably just throw it in my washbag and use it that way. So far the only utter bust for me has been the lip crayon! Not bad for halfway through.

notanicepersonapparently · 12/12/2022 08:36

I rather like the smell of this one. I’m thinking posh spa. I’ve already been looking up what other products they make so I can get some room fragrance or candle. It’s not expensive either. This size would be worth 95p, bringing to days total to Β£122.

PatChauncey · 12/12/2022 08:43

Not a good one for me - I'm very allergic to SLS unfortunately, but my DH will probably use it.

piedbeauty · 12/12/2022 08:44

I love the Calm shower gel on this range. Meditate is OK. Will use, though!

Neversaygoodbye · 12/12/2022 08:46

I like the smell of this and it's a nice size.

Cheesymonster · 12/12/2022 13:01

I think they’ve discontinued the Calm one as I couldn’t find it on the website.

TracyBeakerSoYeah · 12/12/2022 17:55

As I'm full of cold I can't really smell the bath/shower gel. But I do like the Apothecary products anyway so pleased with 2days offering.

TheBelmont · 12/12/2022 21:03

A bit meh today I thought. Handy and smells quite nice but nothing to get excited about. I wouldn’t be tempted to buy a full-size

HighlandCowRose · 12/12/2022 22:26

They haven't discontinued the calm shower gel Cheesymonster I bought one a couple of weeks ago.

I haven't been on for a few days, like todays
Like the night cream
Haven't tried the clinique before,
Had other things from neux range ages ago and got on with them

I'm not using everything that's for my face all together, otherwise I'm not always sure what did what.

TracyBeakerSoYeah · 13/12/2022 00:48

Well I caved in & opened day 13 at 12.30am instead of waiting till I get up later.
it's something from one of my favourite brands & probably the best product of this type in the world!
Well is to me!

GetUsedToTheHeatAgain · 13/12/2022 01:59

Yes no 13 will be handy for me even though I am not a huge fan of the brand in general.

So far I am liking this years better than last year, but that maybe because I am not in the UK and its a big treat!

MrsWidgerysLodger · 13/12/2022 07:17

Love today's. It's one of my staple "treats" this time of year so very happy.

Neversaygoodbye · 13/12/2022 07:32

Love todays too....have this brands calendar for Jadvent as well. It's my birthday in early January so nice to have an extra present.

AbbyGal · 13/12/2022 07:40

Where's my Day 13??

I opened the ap as usual but no advent calendar?? And I definitely opened all 12.

Bah Humbug!

AbbyGal · 13/12/2022 07:40

Blast, wrong thread - as you were!!!

AbbyGal · 13/12/2022 07:41

Actually, no it isn't!!!!!!

PLEASE can we have an edit button for Christmas

lbnblbnb · 13/12/2022 07:50

Very happy with today's item - just what I want, a bit of luxury I wouldn't usually treat myself to. Might put it in the car to use each morning.

MadameSzyszkoBohusz · 13/12/2022 08:02

I'm surprised at all the love for this one. Hand cream is such a boring, "maintenance" thing for me. Like getting loo roll or a plain bar of soap - useful but boring and hardly a treat.

Glad everyone else is pleased though, and it will get used (eventually - I only remember to put hand cream on when my hands are actually scaly!)

notanicepersonapparently · 13/12/2022 08:05

Very pleased with todays hand cream from L’Occitane. It’s the Shea butter 20% in a 30ml size which retails for Β£8. Total to date is Β£130.

Countmeout · 13/12/2022 08:49

I will use both yesterdays and todays. Do agree they’re not very exciting though.

RoxieLoxy · 13/12/2022 09:50

Really pleased with today's as its one of my favourites. I won't use the Clinique moisturiser though but its been the only slight disappointment for me so far so I can't complain.

LizzieSiddal · 13/12/2022 10:11

I love this hand cream, it’s very good for my dry hands.

LizzieSiddal · 13/12/2022 10:13

@notanicepersonapparently thanks for the value updates- it’s excellent value already.
