Well that’s a set .

notanicepersonapparently · 10/12/2022 08:04

Philip Kingsley elasticised 40ml was one of the products I’m really looking forward to trying and one of the reasons I bought this calendar. A 75ml size is Β£19.50 so this smaller one would be Β£10.

notanicepersonapparently · 10/12/2022 08:05

Total to date is Β£121.

happyharpy78 · 10/12/2022 08:07

I've got a few of today's - this one's going on my swap pile.

HeySeamus · 10/12/2022 08:08

Oh, I still have last years elasticiser which I've only used twice. I'm just not organised enough to remember to wet my hair, apply and then wait 20 minutes before washing.
I wish I was though Grin

Sparkletastic · 10/12/2022 08:09

This is the one product I'm totally sick of getting. I just can't be bothered with it, especially in winter months when it's too cold to go around with wet hair.

TokyoSushi · 10/12/2022 08:21

Meh, I don't have time for this one, hopefully better tomorrow!

Hoping for a black eyeliner soon as mine is running out, would also like some shower gel & hand cream!

Neversaygoodbye · 10/12/2022 08:51

Good to know I'm not the only one who struggles with this product. I've got a few old ones hanging around the bathroom. It would be easier to use if you could apply to dry hair but I'd still probably forget to put it on before my shower, especially as I normally exercise before showering and who wants to sit around in sweaty clothes for 20 minutes.

lydiarose · 10/12/2022 09:01

Only the 10th and we've already had THREE Philip Kingsley products Xmas Confused

lbnblbnb · 10/12/2022 09:13

Love elasticiser. Pleased to get that. I hope the person who thought the shampoo and conditioner were elasticiser has worked it out by now, or they will be mightily p-ed off.

ApolloandDaphne · 10/12/2022 09:17

I don't really understand this product. What does it do? What sort of hair is it good on?

HollyHocks13 · 10/12/2022 09:22

I actually really like elasticiser. It's true that you have to be organised and sit around with wet hair but it leaves my hair so shiny and silky and it always smells divine Smile

Dustnbones · 10/12/2022 11:15

I love elasticiser too and can see a very visible difference when I use it. I don’t thoroughly wet my hair, just wet my hands and run it through my hair a few times, put it in and clip it up. I do it on a Sunday morning and have a cup of tea while it works

CorneliaStreet · 10/12/2022 11:15

I used the elasticiser this morning. I put my hair in a ponytail, wet the ponytail bit in the sink, put on the product and then left it in a bun while I had breakfast, then washed it out. My hair did feel silky when I washed it out but I’ve got fine, straight hair anyway so not sure I really need this.

TracyBeakerSoYeah · 10/12/2022 12:42

I'm really impressed with what we have so far!

I love this product and have used it both on wet hair and now just use it on dry hair, and I don't notice any difference to the results. It really does make your hair feel silky smooth afterwards. Honestly give it a try on dry hair if you haven't already. (I just thought what was the worse that could happen - it didn't make my hair fall out or anything Smile)

dooneyousmugelf · 10/12/2022 16:23

Yay this is my favourite so far. I worship at the alter of PK elasticiser!

Sparkletastic · 10/12/2022 17:42

I’ll give it a go @Thunderpunt - do you mean as a normal conditioner after shampooing?

MrsWidgerysLodger · 10/12/2022 17:43

Well it's not Christmas without a bottle of elastisizer! I find this works really well for me so am happy.

Thunderpunt · 10/12/2022 17:47

Sparkletastic · 10/12/2022 17:42

No - I bung it on dry hair 10-20 minutes (or more if I get distracted) before a shower. If I've got any of those disposable hotel shower caps kicking around I stick on of those on and a towel - heat is supposed to help so a warm head is good!
Then rinse hair, wash and conditioner as normal.

AnnieSnap · 10/12/2022 19:38

I put it on my short hair before washing it today (I didn’t wet my hair first) and it’s don’t a great job πŸ™‚

Today’s product is Clinique Dramatically Different Moisturising Lotion +. Just what my skin needs in this cold weather. This was a favourite brand of mine when I was younger mainly because the generous Gift with Purchase offers would tempt me in so it will be nice to try it again. 15ml size would be worth Β£6 bringing the total to Β£127.

cyrila · 11/12/2022 09:04

I'm feeling very nostalgic about today's gift. Just rubbed a little on my hand and the smell reminds me of being in my 20s. I'd forgotten how nice it is.

Inasec24 · 11/12/2022 10:34

I've never owned Clinique anything - very excited.

TracyBeakerSoYeah · 11/12/2022 15:27

I won't use this but my Mum does so I'll give it to her
I always think of Cliniques DDM as custard because that's what an old friend (who used it) called it πŸ˜‚
