I'm hoping others will join me to discuss liberty advent calendar. In line with other threads 0700 earliest for the days contents?

I love the perfume!

NameOchangeO1 · 06/12/2022 11:11

Perfume is nice but quite a lot sweeter than I would usually wear. Might give it to one of my daughters. The bottle is lovely. A great improvement on yesterday's unexciting offering.

JuniperStJames · 06/12/2022 12:01

its obviously a problem with the perfume bottle as so many of us have wonky/broken ones. Here’s mine. It’s annoying as I really wanted the perfume!

I’m sure they’ll replace it if you ask. I don’t mind the wonkyness because mine still works.

imp2007 · 06/12/2022 12:27

Love love love todays! Super happy

TabithaTittlemouse · 06/12/2022 15:40

Mine kind of looks like it was wedged in the drawer which is why it looks wonky!

countdowntonap · 06/12/2022 17:07

Just got home and couldn’t wait to shower off the scent. Will definitely but putting forward for a swap if anyone likes
it.

Isabelle70 · 06/12/2022 17:16

Mine was wonky too and I managed to get the spray top wedged in the lid. I was going to take photos to send to Liberty but I think it's now fixed itself.

Hi, can I join in. I received the advent calendar as a surprise early Christmas present from OH, he's in the good books now! So far I'm quite impressed and love the SR eye cream and Venn concentrate. I haven't tried the face oil yet and not too keen on the smell but will try it overnight. Will try the hair products too as have bleached hair with a tendency to frizz so sure I'll find a use for both. The candle's okay and quite like the scent but agree that it's not festive/seasonal so will save for summer. Bit disappointed with the perfume unfortunately. Love the bottle and brand but too floral and rose heavy for me. Applied to neck so keep getting a waft of posh air freshener! Might try on wrists tomorrow but may need to pass on to a friend which is a shame.

MissDollyMix · 06/12/2022 17:56

I got a wonky lid too but still sprays ok. I absolutely love the perfume but didn’t spray it on myself because I already had a strong perfume on so DD offered to try it. It’s a bit strong for a 9year old! I reckon we’re still going to be smelling it on her next week 😂

Zoetrope1 · 06/12/2022 18:33

I think they’re wonky because they’ve been rammed into the box. I contacted liberty about mine when it arrived and they sent out a replacement.

MyCatsSlave · 06/12/2022 19:04

@countdowntonap I love the perfume so would be happy to swap. What sort of thing would you want to swap for?

imp2007 · 06/12/2022 21:27

Wonder what tomorrow will bring? Thinking it might be an item of make up?

Twinsandsome · 06/12/2022 22:26

I’m so fussy with perfume to the point at this moment in time I can only wear jo malone peony blush suede. Anyone that’s smelt it what’s this one like in comparison? Xx

HundredMilesAnHour · 06/12/2022 22:54

I totally LOVE the perfume! (and no problems with wonky bottle tops for me). This has been my favourite day so far. It really cheered me up as today was a rubbish day for me (started back at work today after a long period of ill health even though I'm not really well enough to start back yet). Thank you Liberty for making my day so much better!

countdowntonap · 07/12/2022 06:50

Loving this high value product this morning!

purplelicious · 07/12/2022 08:14

Yes, this is rather nice...shall look forward to using this. Shame it was squashed into the drawer though as it was too high for it...mine's gone out of shape and was starting to tear. A small point, but a valid one nonetheless...

Toomanylosthours · 07/12/2022 08:34

Morning, sorry I'm one of these people that always seems to be late to the party. I hope you don't mind me joining in.

Equally as confused by the candle. Hair oil I've not been brave enough to try, have fine hair that tends turn greasy easily however, reading one PPs review I think I'll brave to Friday evening. I'm a little in love with the miracle oil so today's got me a little confused .... would you use both products (miracle oil and todays) on same morning? Today's product first?

EasterIssland · 07/12/2022 08:40

i didn’t have time this morning as I was running late for my train didn’t have time to open it.

I lost the train btw

Blossomtoes · 07/12/2022 08:43

I’m delighted with this. I just hope I don’t like it too much, I can’t afford £110 every few weeks!

WonkyFeelings · 07/12/2022 08:48

I don’t care too much for today’s because I already have a (rather expensive) big one, but otoh this is a great travel size and next year I’m doing several short trips, so into the liquids bag it goes!

purplelicious · 07/12/2022 08:48

@Toomanylosthours - I agree with you... it's hard to know what to layer with what...I think the general rule is the lightest item first....so oil, then serum, then cream. Though it says in the site you can mix the serum with creams or other serums. I think I'm going to put mine aside though, and use it at a later date as I think I'll just be layering up too much, or I might alternate it at some point, with the oil.

UglyModernWindows · 07/12/2022 09:07

Great product today. Couple of years ago I got a vit C serum (Lumene) from JL calendar, never used one before so was delighted to find out it completely erased a rather large liver spot on my cheek. Will be interesting to see how this, much more expensive product compares.

I tried the hair oil again today. It seems to work much better when (sparingly!!) applied on dry hair. I have a fine, glass like hair and usually oils just make it very lank.

UglyModernWindows · 07/12/2022 09:08

I don't use face oils in the morning but I would put the vit C first, then oil then a moisturiser if you use one. I'd say try one new product at a time though just incase you'll get a reaction.

Cockle1234 · 07/12/2022 09:19

The link for this serum says to apply it before spf. I took that to mean literally, but perhaps I should stick to before moisturiser?
