I'm hoping others will join me to discuss liberty advent calendar. In line with other threads 0700 earliest for the days contents?

Thanks for the QR @countdowntonap
My first Libertys calendar, present to myself after my divirce this year - so far already a good trade for XDH 😊

Blossomtoes · 01/12/2022 08:11

Wow, full size eye cream. What a great start. I shall be strong and finish the Filorga that’s about to run out before I start it.

marmiteadict · 01/12/2022 08:27

Is the Venn a moisturiser or a serum ?

RockingAmadeus · 01/12/2022 08:30

Both lovely items, great start

SpongeBobJudgeyPants · 01/12/2022 08:45

Hi All. Pleased that the two things are intentional! How much! Smile @countdowntonap please can you explain how to get access to the digitise thing for the techno-challenged?

Is the Venn a moisturiser or a serum ?

Think it’s meant to be both ie an all in one product.

Anti-aging, multi-correctional cream, scientifically formulated with VENN’s proprietary Concentric Technology™ using Vitamins B1 (Thiamine HCL), B2 (Riboflavin), B3 (Niacinamide), B5 (Panthenol), B7 (Biotin), and B9 (Folic Acid), 11 Amino Acids (including 8 Essential Amino Acids), and VENN's water-solubilized Mastic Gum (US Patent 10,881,127B1) as key ingredients to deeply hydrate and effectively improve the skin’s complexion in a single step.

Directions: Apply generously (3-4 pumps) to entire cleansed face and neck, morning and evening.

starsky22 · 01/12/2022 08:54

Yey, I've found you! Very happy with today's haul, will try them both straight away!

Had a liberty calendar a few years ago and since then it's been M&S, which obviously isn't comparable! It's really nice to get decent products and in good sizes!

marmiteadict · 01/12/2022 08:56

@Zoetrope1 thanks so much for that. Can't find my reading glasses this morning so really useful!

WonkyFeelings · 01/12/2022 08:56

Good morning! My first Liberty calendar and I’m super pleased. I’m hugely sceptical about most eye creams but this one felt quite fresh and soothing and I really needed a pick me up this morning.

Vermin · 01/12/2022 09:03

There was a Venn all in one a couple of years ago which was superb and I really wanted to buy it but oh my it’s very very ££$€$¥

Sneakyblinders · 01/12/2022 09:04

Good morning! My DH surprised me with the Liberty calendar this morning (I suspect he purchased when feeling contrite about something - despite my don't spend too much money mantra at the moment, but of course I am very happy with it and grateful!)

Would love if someone could post an idiot's guide to what all the products DO and how you should use them?! My beauty regime is non existent at the moment!

Sameiam · 01/12/2022 09:33

My partner got me this as a birthday gift last month so it’s nice to finally open it! Whacked both products on in the hallway after opening and they feel nice, though under my eyes is feeling a little warm now.

will see how much I use the products, suspect I’m not target market since I don’t really have any wrinkles yet so a basic moisturiser has been doing its job so far.

notanicepersonapparently · 01/12/2022 10:09

It’s my first Liberty advent calendar. I’ve had H&B for the last two years. I would usually use up what I have open but I’m not this time! I’ve used them both this morning. The Sunday Riley is a brand I’ve wanted to try but was wary of buying something which I didn’t get on with, as it’s so expensive. I’ve not heard of the other brand but I loved the texture of it. I’m very pleased with day 1.

BurningTheToast · 01/12/2022 11:04

Really pleased with today - although I research prior to purchase, I've forgotten what's it it!

I've used the eye cream before and it's great and I'll try the Venn as a day cream because I'm usually in a hurry and can't be faffed with serum etc. Rather hope I don't like it too much...

Fleecy · 01/12/2022 11:28

I had a Venn serum in a previous Liberty calendar and really liked it, although too £££ to RP. Nice to kick off with two products.

I’ll join in too! So glad the double products was deliberate! Just waiting few days until
my current eye cream (Aurelia, meh) is gone before starting in the Sunday Riley. Look forward to trying the Venn

MissDollyMix · 01/12/2022 15:27

I've already tried the SR eye cream - loved it! Not tried the Venn yet- maybe will try that tomorrow! I've tried so hard to forget all the contents so it's all very
exciting!

TabithaTittlemouse · 01/12/2022 16:44

They sound lovely. I need to be good and wait to finish what I’m already using first!

countdowntonap · 01/12/2022 18:25

@SpongeBobJudgeyPants the QR code was on a piece of thin card in the original packaging. I only opened mine up this morning and just happened to see the card. However, the QR code just takes you to the link I shared previously and it has every door of the calendar on the same link.
It gives full instructions on how to use each daily product and then has a link to the item on the Liberty store if you want to buy it.

TriciaMcMillan · 01/12/2022 18:25

I'm in! First Liberty calender and have always had a (very) minimal beauty routine, so hoping this will give me some ideas. Just tried and very pleased with the Venn all in one, seems like a fabulous time saver, so I just stop there?! Puffy eyes is not something I'm usually worried about, but perhaps a preventative measure??

Isabelle70 · 01/12/2022 18:27

I opened mine this morning and tried both products. I think the SR maybe did make a difference to under my eyes and the Venn has a nice texture/feeling.

dazzlingdeborahrose · 01/12/2022 18:31

My first Liberty calendar. DH bought it as a surprise. Must admit I had to Google the products. I'm clearly a but rubbish at this beauty lark . Now I've this thread you can all explain everything to me as we go along 😂

HundredMilesAnHour · 01/12/2022 19:05

I already use the SR eye cream (it's been in a few GWP recently so you can usually pick it up cheaply on Ebay) so that's a win for me. Definitely a good start from Liberty. How will they follow 2 items tomorrow though?! I guess all will be revealed in the morning.

@dazzlingdeborahrose that's exactly why I am here!

I definitely need some self care pointers but i struggle to find the energy / time / and there's a lot out there when starting from basically zero!
