Liberty advent calendar opening thread 2022

I'm hoping others will join me to discuss liberty advent calendar. In line with other threads 0700 earliest for the days contents?

Ive been away and come back to open 4 drawers which is so exciting. I will be gifting the (tiny) Aveda, I love candle and todays perfume and not sure about the oil....I use Argan oil in my hair so I guess this is an upgrade.

I I really don’t like today’s perfume 😥I have a cold, so that could have distorted my smell. I’ve just finished getting dressed for work and spritzed it all over myself and I’m worried my colleagues will think I smell vile. Reassuring to
see you all like it.

I’m late to this thread but can I join please? DH presented me with this calendar on the 1st and very solemnly told me that it’s “rated No1 by Vogue magazine”….I PMSL because he really isn’t Vogues target market! Anyway, it was lovely of him and I’m enjoying all the products so far….plus I work with a man with 6 daughters, so anything I don’t want goes straight to a good home Smile

I loved today's drawer! I had Liberty calendar in 2020 and it had the Peony Couture perfume then too but about half the size smaller bottle. I'm not usually fan of floral perfumes but this one is just so nice. It smells quite sharp at first but it develops into a most wonderful scent after while and has real staying power too.

I've liked all the other products so far too except for the candle. It's not that it's not nice but my DH can't bear scented candles so can't use them at home. Really like SR eye cream, that may become a repeat purchase. The Venn face cream/serum is lovely too but I doubt I'll pay the full price for it.

I already use Charles Worthington's leave in conditioner which really suits my glass like fly away fine hair. Will be interested to see how Aveda's compare.

I'm using the face oil today! Fingers crossed!

I loved a Vilhelm scent from the summer beauty box so hoping this one is as nice, if not I have a few Christmas stocking into which I can put it.

Perfume is lovely. Glad they’re redeeming themselves after 2 rubbish (IMO) days. This is my first year getting the liberty calendar and I was starting to wonder if it was a mistake but the skincare is fab and so is the perfume.

@pepperaunt my perfume is broken too. The spray bit is rammed into the lid so it just comes off when you take the lid off leaving an unuseable bottle. I’ve emailed liberty in the hopes they will be able to replace it

I mixed some of the miracle oil in with my face cream the last 2 nights and it has been lovely!

I don't usually like floral perfume but I've sprayed it on today and so far I quite like it.

I went nuts for the Vilhelm perfume earlier in the year, so this is also a winner for me. I am almost over the candle disappointment.

I really like this perfume and it’s such a lovely bottle. Mine definitely had a wonky top although it is working ok,so it seems there could be a wide spread issue with this which is a shame.

Mine is so wonky I thought it was deliberate design! Works fine though and smells really nice. Will see if partner agrees.

Mine’s got a wonky top too. I’m still waiting for it to turn floral on my wrist. This is exactly the reason I wanted the calendar, yesterday’s offering was a piss take.

So is the silver lid bit a removable lid? Or should it be able to be pressed down? If it's the latter mine doesn't so I guess I also need to contact customer services!

Pull the top off and the wonky bit underneath is the spray bit that you can press down.

So happy with todays box, I love the perfume. It’s definitely made up for the Aveda hair sample
