Liberty advent calendar opening thread 2022

I'm hoping others will join me to discuss liberty advent calendar. In line with other threads 0700 earliest for the days contents?

Loving the candle. I’ve wanted the Liberty calendar for years but I think the itch has been scratched now and it will be a different one next year. Happy Christmas 🎄

My first time with a Liberty calendar and I have really enjoyed trying some of the products so far.
A few too many hair items maybe but I tend to use the same shampoo and conditioner so I need to have a bit of a pamper session for the hair.
I am going to try all the face potions one by one or what will go together so I don't overload my skin.
I was undecided whether to carry on with the beauty drop but I think I will as I watched at a Harrods unboxing and it seemed to have more normal products and makeup so I wouldn't look to get that one.
It has been great to come on each morning and see the helpful tips that others have given.

Lovely end for me as I'm a big candle fan. On balance, I've really enjoyed the calendar. Will be back next year. Merry Christmas one and all and a beautiful new year!

Merry christmas everyone! DH was absolutely devastated when I opened the candle this morning, he'd bought me the exact same one but the very big version for christmas

I’ve enjoyed this calendar but, like a couple of others on here, probably won’t buy it again as I’ve scratched the itch. Quite a few things I have enjoyed but the only one I am definitely 100% rebuying is the Miracle Oil (thanks for the heads up on the code @Cockle1234 ).

For those who like the miracle oil, I use one from B skincare based in Cornwall that is £10 and I find very similar.

It was a lovely thoughtful present but I would definitely not get the calendar again, I didn't find it worth the money for the products I will really use and love.
Probably worth it for some!

I’ve loved the calendar and the majority of the products. So many new favourites! I’m already planning on using my beauty drop money on a few of the products.

For those of us who liked certain advent items and want to repurchase, just in case you're not aware that there are quite a few of them being sold on Ebay at present. I find it usually a good way to pick up genuine products that I like that have featured in a GWP/advent calendar and people are selling off the ones they didn't want/like. I just bought the Venn cream for £12. There's a Miracle oil on sale for £11.35 (inc p&p).

@HundredMilesAnHour I liked the Venn so picked one up last week and have noticed the prices have gone up this week but I managed to get another for £14.95 including postage which I am happy about.

Just got back from my Christmas break excited to open the last two days. Love the perfume but went to open day 25 and it’s empty! No candle! 😢 If I write to customer service will they do anything?

I’ve been using the eye one from the first days (is it Sunday something) and I quite like it. Maybe more than my dermatologica one

I’ve taken the plunge and bought a full size Venn. I’ve never spent that much on one product but I’ve used it every day and my skin looks and feels lovely, and I figured I probably spend more every year searching for something that does what this does…!

Space nk has got it as well. Sometimes they do give discounts so if I see it and I remember I’ll let you know. I’ve not tried it yet.

I’m using it because it’s there and my Filorga has run out. I’m not converted, it’s back to Filorga when it’s finished.

Definitely email them. I would surprised if they didn't do something to resolve the issue.

I will definitely repurchase peony couture. I've loved the Venn and sunday riley eye creams but will need to take a big breath before I purchase them.

It's been good to try new products and I will definitely get a beauty calendar next year. Just not sure which one. I found hair care week a bit overwhelming and will use very little of that stuff.

I was hoping there might be a one-off 20% off or £20 when you spend £100 type offer to tempt me into buying one or two of the items I liked from the calendar but can't find anything and don't think DH has received anything by email.

Can anyone help me to find the Trish McEvoy mascara? I’m apprentice about the ones on eBay in case they have been tested before selling.

Unfortunately the only place in the UK which sells the Trish McEvoy mascara is Liberty and they've sold out currently.

Selfridges and Harvey Nicols stock Trish McEvoy but don't seem to sell the mascara online
