I'm hoping others will join me to discuss liberty advent calendar. In line with other threads 0700 earliest for the days contents?

We were supposed to get 14 full size products. I think we've only had about 7 but I haven't been fully keeping check. I know we've had loads of smaller, travel sized items.

notanicepersonapparently · 21/12/2022 10:48

Thanks to @OxanaVorontsova who pointed out that seated queen cold cream comes in a smaller size. I’ve adjusted for that now and I’ve also increased the price I put in for the peony perfume as a previous poster had mentioned the cost of other 10ml perfumes by the same house. My revised total is £765 which is now much closer the AprilLady’s.

Sameiam · 21/12/2022 12:29

Hmm not sure I’ll use this as my brows are pretty good anyway (thankfully never plucked them minus a few stray hairs so they’re full and luckily an alright shape naturally)

marmiteadict · 21/12/2022 19:30

There are a lot of surprising hits (as ever)

Repurchasing the hIr oil and Larry King hair cream as both really have worked miracles.

Loved todays brow gel. I do have good brows but this keeps them upwards and defined.

Misses have been the lipstick just because it is too red for my colouring.

Overall very pleased and have ditched my Beauty Pie subscription in favour of Liberty.

So far haven't won the £1000 voucher. Fingers crossed one of us gets it

I think last year everyone got a £20 voucher which was an incentive to buy favourite products. Maybe still to come.

WeAreBorg · 21/12/2022 19:41

Ooh where would the voucher be, if it were to be? In the 25 drawer?

Thank you again to our wonderful thread accountants - I’ll be in touch about my tax return!

The mascara - makes my lashes long but clumpy, is this just me? Everyone else seems to be getting on well with it so maybe my technique as never tried tubing mascara before and thought my eyes were falling out when I took my make up off!

EasterIssland · 21/12/2022 20:26

Is there 25th drawer? Thought there wasn’t

Blossomtoes · 21/12/2022 20:34

It’s in the middle of the bottom row @EasterIssland.

I found the same. Went on fine but looked awful by the end of the day as all my lashes clumped together. I had the curling one though, not the volumising one. It's certainly not replacing my current holy grail mascara!

Did everyone receive the same lipstick colour? Mine was more of a brown/purple undertones. Very 90s

Orangeslemon · 21/12/2022 21:21

Was excited for today’s (I use brow gel and I’ve been wanting to try something from Rose Inc for ages) but I’m disappointed! It just doesn’t do anything to my brows. There doesn’t even seem to be any product on the brush.

ofCourseYouHave · 22/12/2022 03:47

I can't sleep, so I've opened today's calendar. I don't want to spoil anything - but what a lovely treat!

Polpette · 22/12/2022 05:40

Another early riser here.

Ohhhhhhh!!

Talisin · 22/12/2022 05:40

I could barely get the little drawer open today, it’s very full in there! Umm, I think some of this will be going to the back of the cupboard until my skin feels less winter-dry and can cope with all this.

Zeusrules · 22/12/2022 06:51

I’m another who struggled to get the drawer open but well worth it. I was away in early December so have been opening a couple of drawers a day so behind on the thread. Glad I’ve caught up!

H1Drangea · 22/12/2022 07:12

That’s more like it !

Lotsofpots · 22/12/2022 07:33

An excellent day!!

WeAreBorg · 22/12/2022 07:34

Ooh very nice.
ive forgotten the deadline for when we can say what is it, so all I’ll say is the muslin cloths ten-pack I bought to use with the cold cream was a good investment!

WeAreBorg · 22/12/2022 07:35

I’m now worried that’s too much of a spoiler - hopefully everyone’s gone straight for the drawers 😬

imp2007 · 22/12/2022 07:45

Wow what a day today I nearly pulled the whole calendar over trying to get the drawer open!!! Going to save all of these and look at them properly tonight when I've got more time. I'm not getting on that well with the mascara either persevering with it each day but it leaves my lashes very thin looking if a bit longer the brush is so tiny! Happy to have another to try. Todays must push our total up a bit! Xmas Smile

WonkyFeelings · 22/12/2022 08:10

Really pleased with today’s contents! It does feel quite luxurious.

notanicepersonapparently · 22/12/2022 08:20

The total has risen to £888. It was a bit of a tricky one to calculate as the price of the Ren product varies from £20 to £40 depending on where you by it. I went for
Ren Glycol Lactic masque 50ml -£30
ExfoliKate exfoliating treatment 60ml £78
Uoma Drama bomb mascara £15
Total for today of £123
I've not used either of these exfoliating products before. One for after the Winter I think. If my face doesn’t tolerate them I’m sure my upper arms and thighs will benefit instead.

shinny · 22/12/2022 08:38

What a haul today - exciting opening the massive drawer too. Made my 1 product from my other AC look quite pitiful.
i also have dry winter skin and having slapped on serum day and night I had a bit of a breakout. Venn cream seems to have resolved it -that stuff is amazing!

purplelicious · 22/12/2022 08:40

Yes, that's much more like it...though son will be happy again this morning as he will get the exfolikate and loves it. it's just too much for my skin sadly and have tried it before. The mask looks interesting as does the mascara. I will put the mascara with the Trish one as I already have a couple on the go. A good day.

EasterIssland · 22/12/2022 08:52

Is it a mascara ? My sister is going to be happy as I’m giving her all o mr them because I wear fake eyelashes 😄

Sameiam · 22/12/2022 09:27

Mascara looks really nice! Much nicer on me than the other one and I hate that eyelash tube thing it does.

partner also has his eye on the exfoliation things so may have to fight for them
