Liberty advent calendar opening thread 2022

I'm hoping others will join me to discuss liberty advent calendar. In line with other threads 0700 earliest for the days contents?

Well I never...oil on last! I used to watch QVC and the Decleor lady always put it on first, so I followed her lead....I still love the oil in this advent though.

We must be due a lot of full size products in the rest of this calendar....apparently there are 16 I remember reading?

More hair products?! I hope that's the last of them unless there's some kind of scalp mask or similar. I'd love some make-up to be honest but I'm not sure there is any in this calendar?

And just realised that today's hair product is full size too....

I would love some make up too, surely there are a few bits? I didn’t want to spoil the surprise by looking at the contents before buying, but getting 2 non expensive travel mini hair products is definitely disappointing..

IIRC, there are two or three makeup items in the contents.

It's definitely full size. I actually bought one earlier this year and I haven't used it all up yet as you only use a tiny bit so it lasts for ages. I like it. Much more practical / better than the hair oil.

I’m accumulating so many hair products from goody bags and advents, but this is nice to have.

There definitely are a few make up items coming up.

That's good to know @Talisin and @Zoetrope1 . I only took a quick squint at a photo of the full contents as enjoy the surprise but was worried there might not be any make up. Ideally I'd like a mascara, eyeshadow and blush as can't really go wrong with those.

The amount of hair products was partly why I chose it. I don't like makeup in mine as I'm fussy

I must say there is a limit to how much product I can put on my skin and hair. Hoping for a bit more variety going forward.

I’m not fussed about make up either but three hair products in eight days feels excessive. I’m all about skin care and fragrance.

@R00tat00tt00t there are about 4 make up items from memory but I’m not sure you’ll get everything on your list.

I don’t want to give too much away but It’s definitely skincare and hair care heavy with a few fragrance / scent type items too.

today is alright but nothing special. Product is only £10 to buy straight out so not expecting miracles, but I have thick hair that defaults to frizzy so i can always find room for hair products

I’m a bit disappointed, I don’t usually do much with my thin hair so I really don’t have a need for another hair product. Will gift it.

A word of warning to anyone who checked the digital advent for todays product info, didn’t find it particularly helpful and clicked the link to the website. They have linked to the shampoo - the product in the calendar is not the shampoo. Ask me how I now know this…

How do you know what the use by dates are? I don't know if I'm hoarding things for longer than I should

It’s a finishing cream apparently. To quote the somewhat more useful info from Cult Beauty’s site:

‘Pop a pea-sized amount onto your palm and rub into your hands like hand cream, then use on dry hair to add definition and shine, define curls or to calm down flyaways. Add a little to damp hair on mid lengths and ends and blow dry in to create a perfect polished finish. Or better yet add a small amount to freshly washed damp hair and simply leave to air dry.’

I'm just slightly underwhelmed by it all so far.

I'm going to try the leave to airdry tonight. Purely because I feel rotten with flu. My hair when I'm ill is generally lank and horrid. I can't go wrong really. I'll update tomorrow when I have luscious bouncy and healthy looking locks 🤭
