I'm hoping others will join me to discuss liberty advent calendar. In line with other threads 0700 earliest for the days contents?

@Toomanylosthours Strongly advise - keep that stuff away from your roots (that sounds extremely rude somehow).

I tried the hair cream today but forgot to monitor how great I looked so I’ll have to try again.
Have included the serum along with all the other face products - feel like I need to re moisturise by mid day so maybe my skin feels like it’s too much and is expelling it.
It’s advent so we must persevere!

Three hair care products does seem excessive. My hair's not used to getting so much attention.

For those of you feeling underwhelmed or disappointed please don't worry, by the end it will feel worth it. I swear there's a psychology to the highs and lows of a beauty advent calendar!

The higher the cost the higher the stakes is certainly true.

It feels like they’re regifting us stuff. This is terrible, I don’t care how nice of a mini shower gel it is, I can steal this from a hotel 😂

Next year I’m getting the Space NK one I think. I saw a post of what someone was giving away from theirs and it looked great.

I was excited to see two gifts. What followed was pure disappointment

I'm disappointed too...something to pop into my travel bag I suppose but another inexpensive item, even if there are two. I haven't even bothered to smell them.

It's odd there's two. At least I'll use this. Doesn't feel a treat though.

Got a work Christmas party tonight with cheap hotel booked so one will do for tomorrow.

space nk was the one I would have got if I was buying one! Having said that I think the only thing I won’t use is the weird tomato candle, but not been super exciting last few days.

I'm really trying not to feel disappointed but today isn't great for the price paid.

Is it a luxury brand?

Bamford sell 100ml shower gels for £11 so that's roughly what today's drawer is worth (2 x 50ml).

Just can't get excited about shower gel full stop tbh. Its not something I'd ever splurge on.

I chickened out after seeing this comment. I was heading back to bed and had a vision of waking with hair caked to the back of my head.

Ok for travel but hard to get that excited about soap.

Very disappointed. I was expecting better than this.

Wonder if Carrie and Boris use this as well, the Bamford's hosted their wedding I think.

As an aside , DD used to work in the Banford spa , they were awful to work for , so I’d better not leave it in the bathroom when she’s here for Christmas !

I got the SpaceNK one last year, it was lovely but agree that there are highs and lows with all advent calendars, it’s part of the thrill!
