Good look, chic and business like.... however, I wish she'd wear different shoes. The high heeled courts are looking a bit dated.

I like Kate's look there, simple and unfussy, but it would look even better with different shoes.

KillingMeDeftly · 30/11/2022 21:28

I like the aubergine suit!

KillingMeDeftly · 30/11/2022 21:29

Hmm that makes it sound like Kate is dressed AS an aubergine. Maybe when they go to Greece, we know she loves her literal dressing!

GrouchyKiwi · 30/11/2022 21:38

Kate looks very smart and polished.

RomainingCalm · 30/11/2022 21:49

I like Kate's look apart from the shoes.

A heeled loafer might have been an alternative and a bit more modern with the trousers.

At least it's not a red/white/blue combination although I guess there's always time.

Eaumyword · 30/11/2022 22:29

Love Kate's look, super smart and the aubergine makes it look modern.
Love CPV's gunmetal gown.
A rare fail for Leti - not a fan of that patchworky dress!

@Serenster yes that’s a gorgeous dress. She’s worn the brand a lot over the last 6 years (at least), I’m sure there’s more than one you’d like.

I agree that the Queen should have worn shoes. But on the other hand it’s quite nice that she’s not too fussed.

Here’s a photo of Bea and Edo. Love her outfit - every element is just right IMO. I would happily wear it.

i adore Bea's jacket, anyone know where it's from ?

themessygarden · 30/11/2022 22:51

I love Kate's outfit, agree about the shoes.

She is looking totally fabulous and looking a lot less gaunt these days.

Can't wait to see the rest of her wardrobe..

QueryA · 01/12/2022 09:22

Kate has been in Boston less than 24 hours and she's already worn 3 outfits! She must spend so much of her time getting changed. I couldn't be bothered with it all.

apologies, photos all very low res. You get the idea

RomainingCalm · 01/12/2022 09:41

Completely agree at all of the getting changed and redoing hair/make up QueryA - I would last about 5 minutes before shouting for my comfy clothes and a hair bobble.

I did like the Burberry dress from yesterday, a bit different for Kate and I'm a sucker for a bit of tartan.

Noticed that the blue vintage Chanel jacket came out for the basketball game. I like the jacket but thought it was a very dated look with skinny jeans/trousers and high heels.

XanaduKira · 01/12/2022 09:55

I loved that dress @RomainingCalm - fabulous!

KillingMeDeftly · 01/12/2022 10:17

The Burberry dress is a departure for her and it's nice to see her wearing tartan somewhere other than Scotland! I assume the green coat is a repeat of one of her St Patrick's Day ensembles. God knows she has enough green coats to choose from!

I love the Chanel blazer but she remains wedded to her skinny jeans.

MotherofPearl · 01/12/2022 10:40

I quite like the Burberry dress and it certainly fits beautifully. I agree that the skinny jeans and heels look is getting pretty dated. I'm looking forward to some evening wear.

themessygarden · 01/12/2022 10:59

I love Meghan's green dress, the colour and neckline are gorgeous.

themessygarden · 01/12/2022 11:00

I don't particularly like the cut of the burberry dress and I agree the heels with the skinny jeans or leggings is not a good look.

MotherofPearl · 01/12/2022 11:25

Meghan looks fabulous in that green dress. Is she wearing purple shoes or is that just the lighting?

LadyEloise1 · 01/12/2022 11:38

Yes purple shoes with the green. Suffragette colours ?

KillingMeDeftly · 01/12/2022 12:20

Oh I love that dress and the bright shoe too!

justasking111 · 01/12/2022 12:33

High heels at a baseball game.

Love the tartan ❤️

themessygarden · 01/12/2022 13:20

Meghan's dress is Giorgio Armani

GrouchyKiwi · 01/12/2022 13:25

That's a great look for Meghan. Love the shoes with it.

SenecaFallsRedux · 01/12/2022 13:51

I hope Kate didn't step on to the basketball court in those high heels. That's a real no-no.

I don't mind the skinnies. Lots of women in the US (including me) are still wearing them so they don't seem so dated here (we are always a bit behind the UK and the rest of Europe with fashion). But this would have been a great time to wear fashion sneakers (trainers), which would have been more in the fashion moment.

I love the Chanel jacket. Blue was a good choice as well because it is neutral (in basketball team terms; it's not a color for either of the teams playing).

AdaColeman · 01/12/2022 14:06

I'm not keen on Kate's Burberry tartan dress, I don't think it does much for her really, other than emphasise how slender she is. On the other hand, I liked seeing her wearing her vintage Chanel jacket again.
I hope she begins to break away from a dependance on "Tribute to Diana" jewellery, and starts to forge her own Princess of Wales independent style. Maybe Camilla will share out the older historic pieces, to give Kate more choice while she builds up her own collection.

Meg's green Armani dress is fab, and the purple shoes are the perfect finishing touch.

I see it is a mere 1255 euro, a snip for something so stylish. I might get a couple for myself...
Oh no! They've only got one left!
