I shall have to google Nancy Meyers films as I have no idea what they are!

Princess Stephanie does indeed look lovely and serene.

Max's greens are not great, but I love her coat. I wonder if Kate is eyeing it with envy. Grin

Here you go - article I just read in Architectural Digest:

GrouchyKiwi · 09/12/2022 21:08

Thanks MotherofPearl. I was just reading some too. Smile

RomainingCalm · 09/12/2022 21:37

Love this cosy outfit on Camilla today, she does hats so well.

There's lovely detail on the sleeves of her coat and the trusty black boots have been replaced by a pair that match her coat.

It's just missing a brooch.

Royal Style: Charles and his wee boots, and please - plenty of (Preloved) bling!
paradyning · 09/12/2022 21:57

Has Charles replaced a button there?
Thanks for the AD link! I too was wondering what Nancy Myers was!

lipstickwoman · 09/12/2022 22:01

Charles' button! Oh my, sack the valet 😂

Agree Camilla is sooo good in hats.

justasking111 · 09/12/2022 22:03

We ought to have a sweepstake what coats, hats they'll be wearing to church at Christmas 😂

paradyning · 09/12/2022 22:53

My money is on a hat exactly like Cams is wearing there!

Charles looks really ashen in almost all the photos I've seen of him lately

KillingMeDeftly · 09/12/2022 23:25

He looks cold in that photo, maybe he should've borrowed a cosy hat from Camilla!

CliffsofMohair · 09/12/2022 23:38

Amalia turns 19. She is so like Max!

Royal Style: Charles and his wee boots, and please - plenty of (Preloved) bling!
KillingMeDeftly · 09/12/2022 23:48

I think it's the middle daughter who resembles Max. Amalia is more Oranje.

CliffsofMohair · 09/12/2022 23:58

All I see is Max in that expression. And hair.

MarshaMelrose · 10/12/2022 01:59

I thought Camilla loved fab in that caramel cost and hat and she had great boots as well.
What with Charles jacket the other night, she just gets better and better.

PoppySeedBagelRedux · 10/12/2022 02:23

I really don't like Camilla's padded furry hats like that. They all look to me like they come from a stall at a game fair, but as that matches her coat, that must have been made specifically for her. They are not chic.

Eaumyword · 10/12/2022 08:00

Well I love Cam's camel hat and coat - very county!
I wonder if Charles's coat is one of those wildly expensive sort where one button is deliberately different from the rest?
For example, Joules sometimes did that for fun, such as 5 rabbit buttons and one gold one. Maybe they were copying the expensive tailors?

AdaColeman · 10/12/2022 09:07

Camilla's furry hat probably DID come from a stall at a game fair!

I love it, she looks snug and warm, and VERY county. Xmas Wink Xmas Wink

KillingMeDeftly · 10/12/2022 09:21

It's not a look that appeals to me but it suits Camilla!

AdaColeman · 10/12/2022 09:25

Actually, Camilla's statement oversized fluffy hats, of which she has several, come from Lock & Co. Hatters. Established in 1676, they are the oldest shop in London and the oldest hatters in the world.
With 346 years of experience, their hats are superb. Their website is pure escapism for any hat lover.

Maireas · 10/12/2022 09:27

I agree, those hats really suit Camilla. I do hope we have a Sandringham Church walk this year.

@PoppySeedBagelRedux
Re Camilla's padded furry hats "....... they are not chic"

I like them on her. Very practical. The colour of that one is lovely on her.
I rather think they are chic. More chic than nothing on her head outside ( except her hair of course ).

I like these threads, we have different opinions. That's fine.
The subjects of our musings win some and lose some. Smile

Gooseysgirl · 10/12/2022 10:21

Ahhh I think Camilla looks great 🥰 I don't love the colour but the whole outfit is very 'her'. Rare faux pax from Charles there - I wonder did he put the jacket overlap on the wrong way round and the mismatched button should be on the inside?

I love Amalia and look forward with great anticipation to her fashion future! She has incredible hair and looks fantastic in that pic.

Can't get on board with Sophie's leather stuff at all.

Loved Zara's evening dress - more OF the same please! similar style for her wedding dress would have been SO much better

iknowimcoming · 10/12/2022 10:32

I think KC's buttons are fine and the odd button was a trick of the light - no sign of it in the Twitter pics (tried to add photo but won't let me for some reason)

Maireas · 10/12/2022 10:48

Amalia looks lovely, and, as Deftly says - a proper Oranje! Very Wax.
They're a nice looking family and I look forward to more of their fashion moments, ditto the Borbon sisters.

Preview of Kate’s outfit for the Christmas carol service

Royal Style: Charles and his wee boots, and please - plenty of (Preloved) bling!
chesterelly1 · 10/12/2022 10:54

I thought the odd button looked like one of those giant press studs you get on double breasted coats to stop the inner flap hanging down, plus the button at the top looks too far over. I think it's buttoned right over left instead of left over right. Maybe he was freezing and rushing to get wrapped up.

Maireas · 10/12/2022 10:55

I know it's a bit of a Christmas cliché, but the red sparkly dress is very pretty and seasonal!
Bless her, she's never entirely relaxed in front of the camera. I hope the concert goes well.
