Eternal Birthday Girl looks nice in the green trouser suit, it's the same colour as Camilla's outfit! I do like that beret/feather hat.

I love EBGM's green suit. It looks so cosy for this time of year.

Just read a new book out next month a biography of the queen by Gyles Brandreth. Something for my Christmas stocking. Apparently it's a very fond recollection

But on the other hand, both his parents were 90+ when they died and so if Charles has a similarly long life, W would be early 60s when he becomes King and George would be almost 30 then.

Another vote for the green trouser suit and grey polo neck. I love polo necks in winter to keep my neck warm and hide the wrinkles.

Omg I love EBGM's green suit. Interesting combination of grey and green, as the normal assumption would be black/green, but I think it works well.

"Here's Max in a glamorous sequinned dress" thought I. But nope, it's sequinned trousers!!

Meanwhile the Japanese royals are still masking. Masako looks elegant in a lilac pantsuit but her daughter is wearing an outfit last seen on Queen Elizabeth II in 2022, right down to the shoes! I know the Japanese imperial court is very conservative but she's only about 21. It's possible to dress conservatively without looking 90!

Six years ago when we downsized I binned all my eighties clip on earrings, the dynasty style ones that pinched. They're all the rage again going for silly money. Could kick myself now.

@justasking111 Very pretty. Ohh I do love a brooch! I only have one atm, a handmade one that my craft/jeweller friend made. I’d love a collection and once in a while eBay calls to me but again, I’ll bankrupt myself with ‘bargains’ if I’m not careful...

I am not sure this ruched dress of Mathilde's works, or if this is her best colour. The caped gown from a couple of days ago was far nicer.

Mathilde's dress would look a lot better if the ruching was at the waist rather than on the hip.
