October's Beauty Drop box is en route. Time for a new thread! 💄

Thank you for the heads up about the beauty crackers. That's my team's Christmas presents bought!

There was a poster on the last thread heading to London at the end of the month - sorry I've forgotten who it was - the Diptyque festive candles are online now. The Liberty website only has the snow in the large size and the firewood in the smaller size but I'm guessing more will be added in the next week or so.

Which one(s) are you looking for @Tibtab? I was a bit disappointed that they haven't included the Christmas fragrances again with the decoration set.

@Someaddedsugar I like festive spicy scents, they always remind me of Christmas. The biscuit one - maybe last year’s - was nice.

I got the box yesterday, I really like it. I’m another who loves Votary and will probably spend all my beauty credit on that brand.

I laughed when I took the shower gel out though, as it had a light dusting of dirt on the cap and I remember someone on the thread saying they’re shifting long stocked minis.

I love the perfume, hand cream, Votary toner and moisturiser. I got a black glitter eye pen which is fun, would have liked a green one as eye shadow, but based on what people said here maybe that’s a blessing! Primer I haven’t tried yet as I don’t wear foundation and shower gel I’m not too in to.

would have loved a lip balm, I need to buy one.

Re Votary - you are probably already shopping with them (?) but their own website well worth keeping an eye on for offers etc - they had 20% off masks the other week and it's usually free p&p

Bit peeved that I didn't get any of the daily e mails about the offers...

Are you signed up for them? Liberty are pretty good,they only send out what you ask for, I only get beauty box updates and they remind me if I want other emails I have to subscribe to them.

not really, you pay £20 a month but that £20 is “banked” so you can use it, all of it , nothing is siphoned off, to spend in Liberty. You can spend it at any time in any department not just perfume and make up. So the boxes contain samples, or sometimes full size products which you aren’t actually paying for, and the postage and the pretty box are free too (great idea from a pp to use the box as a gift box). It’s a way of getting you to try new products, and of course eventually spend money in Liberty so it’s a bit of an everybody-gets-something-out-of-the-deal relationship.

I didn’t know that @BeaLola , thank you so much. I got into it early in the year with this facial offer they had on in Liberty, cost fully redeemable on products. I saw the sign when I went in, and I’d become aware of the brand because of their pear product. I bought the oil cleanser and a mini seed facial oil and in October those are still going strong! I was just going to book myself in for another facial as a winter treat and get more. I’ll sign up to the Votary website now.

Going to ask this here and the beauty advent thread as I can’t remember which it was discussed on.

liberty have the Oto cbd star with the black and white oils I think is it white for night black for morning, they are only 3.5ml each, do you reckon that would be enough for
me to try them out for a few nights to see if they work for me? Or am I better investing in just the full size of the sleep one?

3.5ml of an oil will last ages. You only get 15ml in a full size one and that lasts months.

Finally got to open my drop box today. Very happy with it and thankfully I don’t mind the perfume but won’t be tempted to buy a full size!

I have the eyeliner in black if anyone would like to swap it for the green version?

Would anyone like to swap black glitter liner for blue? Totally unopened. Just not something I think would suit me (the blue) I do however wear lots of black eyeliner. ☺️

I’ve tried the perfume for a couple of days now and it’s growing on me. Like a fresh talc floral laundry scent.

I've taken to layering the perfume with something lighter and fresher, makes it much more wearable

Whereas I bought a mug

It’s basically just buying Liberty gift vouchers. I spend mine on fabric and all sorts!
