Excellent ill give it a go Grin

Isabelle70 · 25/01/2023 22:49

Our local duty free airport shop stocks Sturm, so my Dd is on strict instructions to check out what products they have. Fingers crossed that they have the vitamin c serum 😀

SpongeBobJudgeyPants · 26/01/2023 12:21

The clay cleanser leaves my face feeling soft, but I don't like using black stuff on my face in the shower. Not quite at the level of the Dirty Shower Protest coffee scrub of yore, but I wouldn't buy it. Air freshener and hand cream were good though.

SpongeBobJudgeyPants · 26/01/2023 12:22

@Isabelle70 would be interesting to see how much the Sturm hylauronic serum is in duty free.

tellmewhentheLangshiplandscoz · 27/01/2023 10:42

Almost a week in and I can report the air freshener in my car has mellowed a fair bit. I quite like it!

I've also managed to sell a few of my advent items I won't use, on Vinted so that's a bonus. Whenever I see the same item listed when setting my price I always wonder if that member is also a mumsneter 😁

tellmewhentheLangshiplandscoz · 27/01/2023 10:43

Mumsnetter rather.

I think anyway. Is it a word?!! It looks wrong written down Grin

Peridot1 · 27/01/2023 11:01

I finally put the air freshener in my car yesterday and quite like it. It certainly masks the petrol smell from when DH spilled some from a Gerry can buying some for the lawnmower.

CurlyFerret · 27/01/2023 13:48

I’m loving the air freshener though it’s not in my car 😂 as definitely too strong. It’s in the utility room and casts its lovely fragrance into the lounge and hall as it’s still powerful stuff!

Cyclingmummy1 · 27/01/2023 18:17

I've put the air freshener in our wardrobe and I love it. Not that keen on the musc, but not a big perfume fan anyway. I like the serum but can't imagine paying that price. As others have said, it takes me a few days to come round to liking the products.

LaurelGrove · 28/01/2023 10:58

Signing in as this is my first month as a subscriber. I'm happy with the box - I do shop in Liberty and am eyeing up the Jones Road foundation so this spreads the cost and gives me a bit of a treat on the side. Not sure about the perfume and I don't remember which one I got. I have the air freshener in my wardrobe (if I had it in my car it would double the value of the vehicle!) and I'm really enjoying that. DP less convinced but it's my wardrobe. Cannot imagine spending that much on hyaluronic acid when it is so cheap but will enjoy upping my game while it lasts.

LesLavandes · 28/01/2023 14:02

Air freshener in wardrobe may keep those pesky moths at bay in summer!

AmIreallyBeverly · 29/01/2023 17:13

I have £20 credit and have stopped my subscription but I don't know what to spend the credit on.

Any ideas? I don't want beauty. I could top it up to £30ish.

PomRuns · 29/01/2023 18:23

@AmIreallyBeverly a lovely mug? Or a Liberty print umbrella?

Reinventinganna · 29/01/2023 23:47

Am I the only one that has trouble with this thread? It takes forever to load!
anyway, I love the air freshener. Gave ds the fragrance and everything else was a bit meh this time. I have an Emma hardy moringa addiction so any other cleansers don’t compare!

Peridot1 · 30/01/2023 09:06

@Reinventinganna - it seems to be any long thread for me. I’ve had to switch my preferences to 25 posts per page rather than one long thread which is annoying. It does help though. Apparently MN are working on it. There is a thread in Site Stuff called something like For the love of God.

I really really like the OTO hand cream, I have a real problem with dry hands that crack and bleed. I use Body Shop Hemp Hand Protector at night with gloves but it is too greasy for the day. I use L’Occitane hand cream but my hands just eat it up, I need the oil. The OTO one oils and protects my hands but isn’t too greasy or wierd smelling. That would be my first repurchase from the beauty boxes but it is out of stock! www.libertylondon.com/uk/ritual-cbd-hand-balm-75ml-000721823.html

I see from my wish list that the earrings are back in stock full price £115 from £40 😂 www.libertylondon.com/uk/18ct-gold-plated-vermeil-silver-polaris-white-sapphire-drop-earrings-R472759006.html

An item I put on my wish list last week at full price, so wasn’t in sale, now showing as significantly reduced and out of stock. www.libertylondon.com/uk/mystic-scarves-cardigan-R487527006.html So weird.

SweetSakura · 30/01/2023 12:41

Same , I have horrible dry skin and the OTO cream has really impressed me!

Wiennetta · 01/02/2023 23:19

Damn, I really like both the cleansers but the price! 😭 I’m never sure whether it’s worth getting cleansers as they’re on your skin for such a short time, so spend my money on serums, retinol etc. But my skin has looked really glowy with this Omorovikza one this week. It’s £62 full size!

Pigtailsandall · 02/02/2023 21:31

Noooooo
My small child just dropped the Sturm serum on the floor and it shattered 😭 I was using it so sparingly too.

If anyone has one that they don't want, I'll buy it at a reasonable price

@EasterIssland i missed the word ‘expensive’ 😂 I’m never sure if it’s worth getting expensive cleansers!

I feel the same about cleansers - and shampoos. I use cerave cleanser as it’s a nice combination of active ingredients vs cost. If I’m paying for anything fancier then I’d want it to sit on my face for longer, i.e. be a serum or cream.

redredwineub40 · 03/02/2023 10:57

Tend to agree, although as I've gotten older
I've found some shampoos are worth it!

SpongeBobJudgeyPants · 03/02/2023 11:16

@Pigtailsandall if you send me a SAE for large letter, I'll send you what I have left.

Oh that's really kind of you! I can do - or I could just paypal you some money for the cost of sending if easier :)
Thank you 😄
