October's Beauty Drop box is en route. Time for a new thread! 💄

Got it! Very, very pleased. I won’t spoil the surprise.

Mine just arrived - my first one as I only signed up recently.

I must admit I'm quite disappointed. I won't give the details but if this is typical (is it?) then I will probably cancel my subscription. Seems like two items are for a similar function. My main beef is nothing in it feels like a luxury/treat. Maybe my expectations were unrealistic.

I'm away on business this week, I'm itching to see what delights are in the box. I've slightly fallen in love with the matcha 26 perfume from the advent, thought I'd treat myself to a bottle if I had time go nip to liberty but at £216 for 100ml I'm not sure the additional expense it worth breaking away from my normal Miller Harris. Does anyone know if liberty do any deals on their perfumes?

Maybe I was a bit hasty, there is at least one luxury item in there that I already love (and can't afford :) )

Thanks @Biscuitsforsupper - couldn’t find it on there but searched and found someone already selling one on eBay! Looks a little underwhelming but I often think that and after trying stuff quite like it. Looks quite sachet heavy this one, or single use anyway.

Mine has arrived. Going to put a few lines breaks in just to avoid spoiling anyone…

I’m pretty disappointed actually. Six items instead of seven last time, two of which are tiny cleansers and one is a hand cream like we had in the last box. I felt the last box had a nicer variation of products (2 x skincare, 2 x make up, shower gel, hand cream, fragrance). Laughed at the car air freshener!

But, just putting into perspective, it’s all free so I’m only griping a little.

I'm glad it's not just me, I thought I must be a right old misery for being so underwhelmed. The perfume sample is nice. I could sell cleaners so not a winner for me. I don't have a car but might try the fragrance thing in our shoe cupboard.

Google the products and see what the retail cost is. You might be surprised.

Just search in google and it should come up. 😊

The perfume is lovely, and I've placed the car air freshener thingy in the bathroom. Hand cream is also good but I'm the sort of person who has a hand cream in every room and every handbag 😊

I've listed my items below so NO WHINGING ABOUT SPOILERS IF YOU LOOK!

Initially I was underwhelmed, having to remember these are just freebies! I've just looked at the prices and now feel MUCH better!

• Car Air freshener? 😂 Not sure about this one! £12 apparently! DC&Durga Suggests it can go in the wardrobe which this might. I'll need to check on the strength of the scent later
• Perfume tester is Acampora in Bruno. It's a very male scent, but infinitely better than the last sample which made me feel sick.
• Hand cream. OTO Ritual in CBD 🙄 but again, far better than the awful rose one last time. Might actually use this one. £29 RRP?! Wow.
• Hyaluronic serum. Will try it. £25/worth in this 3ml sample 😲😲
• Face cleanser x 2.... One is Omorovicza which usually has an obscene RRP (this is apparently £9.99), but also manages to be in every beauty box (Glossybox, OK!, Birchbox...) so can't possibly be an expensive product or it wouldn't be in £10 subscription boxes.

My perform is “musc gold” also by Acampora. It’s gorgeous but £££ so I can never buy it. I’m wearing it while WFH in trackie bottoms and an old fleece jumper which somehow feels utterly decadent.

Just opened my first box. Little bit underwhelmed tbh but perhaps my expectations were too great. I have the Musc perfume which I’m hoping will improve as it warms up on my skin. At the moment it’s quite a harsh smell. I’ll persevere with my subscription as it’s costing me nothing but hope for some more exciting products in future boxes.
