Had my sleep kit order cancelled earlier today. Ordered it yesterday. 😞

Just received the October box, I only signed up a couple of weeks ago so wasn't expecting it and assumed I'd just get the Jan box onwards. So a nice extra Christmas treat

They must have had a lot of left over boxes if people who signed up after October (including me!) have got them. Nice little bonus though. I was really happy with mine.

Thought it worth posting here, as the only reason I saw them was because they were in the jewellery advent calendar. Shows how inflated the price is for that if they’re reducing the individual items so much

Those Polaris earrings are gorgeous and an utter bargain - I loved the jewellery advent calendar, I didn't get it and good job too but gutted I've missed it as it went for £340 in the sale!

Now, I don't suppose they'll do it next year but if only you cold get some sort of price tracker alert app to search based on description to alert...

Oh wow did it really go to £340 @redredwineub40 , I did not see that and would have snapped it up! I loved a lot of the items in it. And obviously the Astley Clarke Polaris Drop ones enough to buy them for £92.

I was someone lucky enough to get the jewellery advent at that price. I'm putting it away for next year.

Oooh now that was the best sale bargain I've seen this year!! Enjoy! Liberty do lovely jewellery and I'm happy to keep the credit build up going as I've had some great bits in the sale.

What a pisser @BakeOffRewatch I hate it when that happens. But FWIW that’s always the risk you take, buying before Christmas, and it looks like they have some big jewellery reductions this year.

It is annoying, I didn’t need them at the time and thought 20% was a good reduction. This is my first time as a Liberty consumer so not familiar with their sales cycle and discounts, so feels a bit of a con of a n00b. I know that’s silly! I could have spent £50 of my credit on something else. I’m also surprised to see Shaun Leane stuff reduced so much, there’s a few earrings of his I want and I’ve never seen them go into sale. Liberty doesn’t seem to appear in price trackers like shopstyle. I live in London so I think I’ll save up and pop in next Christmas Eve or whenever the sale starts.

It could be they've miscalculated a fair bit this year, I've not shopped at Liberty online before this year either but I'd be surprised if selling at such discounts was part of a general business model. We'll find out when the results get published but the papers say it's been a shockingly bad year for retail.

I follow items on Reiss a lot and they have not heavily discounted and things that were that I had my eye on sold out straight away within hours once it was launched. I couldn’t find in stores in London on Boxing Day either. So some have got it right for their target market. Same with Space NK and some Christmas items I had my eye on but didn’t need and would have got in sale.

Nothing has really struck my fancy this year in the sale which is a shame. I do like those Astley Clarke earrings but trying to resist.

I bought the Liberty Get Ready with me starter pack set. About £350 of products. Should be £100 but I was lucky enough to get it for £50 - used my beauty drop credit too. I also bought 2 of the liberty crackers that had £65 cashmere socks in - down to £10. They arrived 24 hours later too.

@redredwineub40 it does seem like their business model as odd as it is! They reduced this Rixo dress to £150 and it’s still full price at Net A Porter, matches, Harrods, Selfridges etc at about £300 www.libertylondon.com/uk/samantha-mini-dress-R488006006.html and this Farm Rio heart sequin dress I wanted sold out instantly didn’t even see how much it was reduced! www.libertylondon.com/uk/hearts-sequin-mini-dress-R487500006.html I like to keep my eye out for a fancy Valentine’s Day dress in the Christmas sales.

Genuinely bizarre @BakeOffRewatch - nice dress!

I'm sad I've missed the kits, but I really don't need anything as I've got so much stuff to use up! I managed to lose my lipslique when I took it out with me, so have rebought from Ebay. I suspect someone, maybe on here, didn't like it enough to keep it. As it was OOS on Liberty, it means I have been able to replace it for reasonable cost, whilst being annoyed at my carelessness!

Just a quick reminder to drop box subscribers, make sure you sign up to the Liberty loyalty card and make sure they are linked. For every £200 you spend you get a ten pound voucher, which isn’t much, but you could see it as earning a bit of interest on your beauty drop stash!
