Here's an injection of colour for your week. Mathilde (with Queen Paola) in a red velvet pantsuit and Rania in Dairy Milk purple! Both women look good, as does Queen Silvia in a more muted shade of purple.

Well fresh from being the first place for our new King and Queen to make an official visit to we have had a visit from Princess Anne. I drive past whilst on mum taxi duties. This picture was from a local page - a coat that's had lots of outings and it looks like her sister-in-law has recommended a good pair of boots

I have to admit that I quite like Mathilde's red velvet suit, but then I do love velvet. I'm less keen on Rania's purple dress.

Kate's been out and about at a Ukrainian community centre today. Camel coat and dark brown spotty dress.

Is it the coat from a few days ago? Is she getting a couple of wears out of it before it goes to the dry cleaners, because that's what I would do.
Im sure they are looking forward to a break at Christmas this year.

I really like Mathilde's red velvet suit, I'd wear that myself. It's by Dries Van Noten, and I like almost every that he produces.

I love velvet. I'm on the lookout for a pair of black wide-leg trousers made from proper velvet, not the flimsy kind that's in the shops at the moment, but no luck.

Max and Mathilde seem to be wearing more or less the same outfit, though Max's is the dress version and Mathilde the trousers.

Apologies if this has been discussed already but I wonder what the new King's plans are for Christmas this year? Will the Windsor castle church walk tradition carry on without HMQ or will he do something/go somewhere different? I presume the Christmas Day speech will be filmed quite soon if it hasn't been already, that will bring a lump to the throat won't it

Also (and I know this isn't a gossipy place so I'll be brief and not too gossipy) I think Mike Tindall comes across as an all-round top bloke on I'm a celeb. He may not look like Prince Charming but he's got everything else you'd want - funny, kind, sensitive, calm, practical, you name it, I bet he's an amazing dad!
