The Dr's think I have long covid

I'm sorry to hear it might be long covid @Thatsasmashingblouseyouvegoton That sounds tough. Have the Drs given you any medicine or strategies to help manage it?

For myself, it's the constant brain fog and exhaustion that's wearing me down. I keep being told it's the round the clock migraines making me feel awful, and once they're under control I'll feel better. I don't know, it's been such a long time since I've felt truly, truly well, but I hope that's true. Apparently, the Drs just need to find a medicine that will work for me. This is very frustrating because one after the other either makes me feel worse or has no effect.

Oops, I didn't mean to sound disparaging about my migraine Drs in that post! They are very understanding and efficient. I have other health issues, and I suppose it is hard for them to balance medications and separate out different symptoms.

Right, enough from me.

My favourites were C and F but they Are both over £200 😬

Omg what is it with the formatting on here lately! Grrrrrrr

My favourites from the box were D and F. I can see the appeal of C, but really dislike liquorice/aniseed so it’s not for me. There was 10ml of Oud for Greatness in the Harrods box, which I’m thoroughly enjoying though.

Have any of you bought the December box?

SOTD is a sample of EL Infinite Sky. Would be really good if I liked leather notes more.

Think I might need to scrub off H. I hadn’t had a chance to try it before the reveal and it’s making me feel a bit queasy 🤢

Talking of scrubbers, I'm trying Marc Jacobs Perfect Intense today. I'm on the verge of washing it off - it's very heavy on the jasmine, which is always a tricky note for me.

I find the best thing to get perfume off is eye make up remover or any oil-based cleanser. I also now only test new perfumes on one wrist, after once making the mistake of spraying something new on my neck and shortly afterwards having to go and shower and wash my hair all over again.

SOTD is Miller Harris Rose en Noir - a TK Maxx blind buy I’m pretty happy with. I think the rose/violet combo will appeal to those who like FM Lipstick Rose.
