I’ve been eyeing up the Bath & Body Works Christmas scents too. I absolutely do not need any more soap, shower gel or body lotion though (famous last words). I’ve got so much stuff in the cupboard already, plus I’ve got the M&S beauty advent calendar to start opening soon.

I know what you mean about reformulations @ThreeImaginaryBoys They are the bane of a perfume lover's life. Whenever I spray on a reformulation I always feel like I've lost something, and never really do get used to the new smell - it's so dissatisfying.

SOTD is Ambre Sultan, for a trip to the opticians. Apparently, my new glasses will take between two and three weeks to make! Grrr.

Oh, the loss of orginal formula obsession and opium are like knives to my nose heart 💔

My biggest crime of reformulation was Ivoire. The new edition smells like soap and has lost its sophisticated and slightly dirty edge.

It’s cold today and they can’t decide if it’s going to snow over the weekend. We have a big Bath and Body Works here, so I may pop in for some Christmas shopping over the weekend. The DDs love Bath and Body Works, and Sephora, but both now available in U.K. Although DD2 says it’s more expensive in U.K.

Does anyone know if Annick Goutal’s Musc Nomade is still around, or has been discontinued?

It's 30% off Kayali (plus a few other brands like Sol de Janiero) on Cult Beauty at the moment, so I have ordered a 10ml of the Vanilla Royale Sugared Patchouli to try.

Sotd is Papillon Tobacco Rose. I 'm still on a Rose run, so its been a combination of Une Rose, Paris edp, la fille de Berlin & Nahema. I'm not too sure about my latest acquisation which is Masque Milano Love Kills - a very high-pitched & relentless Rose Geranium. The bottle & packaging are so very pretty though, so i'm in two minds whether to sell it or just admire it.

I love Tobacco Rose. I'm in Heeleys Hippie Rose today. Its funny until about a year ago I hated rose. Now I have quite a few I love.

The Kayali Vanilla Royale Sugared Patchouli arrived this morning. It’s definitely patchouli dominant, though not in a joss stick kind of way. I get the oud too, but there is an underlying sweetness that’s coming through more after a couple of hours. It’s very rich and strong. DP’s verdict was ‘a bit masculine’ and it is definitely more unisex than I was expecting from a Kayali fragrance. It’s different to the things I usually wear but I think I like it, though will need a few more wears to be sure.

4.5 lbs weight loss is really good! That's nearly half a stone @Thatsasmashingblouseyouvegoton Weight loss is hard, I put on 4 st in one year of taking steroids - that took me three years to get rid of. You're doing really well. 😊

I'm so excited for Christmas! I love advent just as much as Christmas itself. It's Stir Up Sunday tomorrow - hasn't it gone quickly? Nearly time for Christmas trees, and wreaths and lights and decorations! 🎄🎁🎀🎅

FestivelyScent I can't believe Christmas is approaching so rapidly! I usually love it, especially the scent of oranges and cloves and eating all the food but I'm not feeling it yet. The non-stop rain has really annoyed me. Thatsasmashingblouseyouvegoton congratulations on the weight loss, it's so hard at this time of year...
