A sad start to a new thread, but I hope we can celebrate the legacy of Elizabeth Regina, what a woman, and what style!

She also wore it to the family dinner to celebrate Elizabeth and Phillip’s 70th wedding anniversary, so a perfect choice for both funerals.

I thought all the attendees looked lovely - honourable mentions to Sophie’s lily-of-the-valley embroidered panels and Meghan’s Stella McCartney caped dress. More of a fashion statement than the others, but she looked lovely in it. I much preferred her hat in black rather than the white she also has it in, too.

Yes you’re right of course they don’t have stuff like cleaning to get done or go home and cook tea for the kids, it’s just that most of us would only have one service for the loss of a loved one and then that’s it. It’s more of an emotional drain I think.

Its all been magnificent, perfect so far. I love the flowers, the piper, just beautiful.
Meghan looks elegant, the zip is spoiling it, and going against the grain here, but for me the hat has something about it that’s too informal. She looks great though. Camilla looks lovely, very regal, love the hat. Has she had her hair done in a creamier colour?
Kate looks great, love the jewels and the veiled hat, the fuller shape to the dress/coat is flattering.
I like Sophie’s brocade, Bea’s hat, not keen on Eug’s outfit, can’t really see Zara or Louise.
Penny Knatchbull(? Can’t remember..) looks beautiful too, as did Princess Alexandra. Not spotted Sarah Chatto or any of the others really.
The whole thing is just spine tingling. ♥️

Princess Alexandra is unfailingly elegant, isn't she? I always think that her niece, Lady Gabriella looks very similar. Like the late Princess Marina.

Slipping back in for the Windsor part of the day. I like the house they're marching past right now!

Love Meghan’s hat and dress. She looks absolutely stunning.
Equally love Catherine’s outfit, the dress complements the necklace perfectly. She looks so elegant.
I’m not sure about Zara’s hat/headwear of choice.

I didn’t love Zara’s headwear. A bit Designers at Debenhams wedding wear.

For me this is the most poignant, the countryside and the marching and the horses very moving

I felt the hats that have been worn in the last few days have been a lot nice than today.

I really like Catherine and Meghan's hats, also Camilla's.

Evidently, the little horseshoe brooch that Charlotte wore was a gift from the Queen.
