We sometimes enable but we also share out thoughts, support one another and generally share our love of beauty consumerism!

Accidentally ordered the beauty box.

An empy to report:

• Emma Hardie moringa cleansing balm: I am not in love with the smell but it gets the job done. This was from an advent.

I'm currently finishing off one of those I got in an advent calendar too. Don't like the smell either.

I didn’t love the smell either. I had swollen, irritated eyes and a runny nose though. Pleased I only had a tester!

I'm using it up too, it's ok

Yet another citrus fragrance is gone… This one was by Carven and called “A Girl in Capri”. Another blind buy from the Chemist from last summer. Bloody lovely. Where the Monotheme Arancia Verte is green and has a refreshing bittersweet note, this is very much a lemon/lemon blossom with a touch of salt (floral margarita? 🍹🍹🍹Whooooo!!!) Tiny but solid and ergonomic bottle that totally represented the fragrance perfectly. (Not that I had seen it first.) I can still order it from the Chemist, so will absolutely do that with my first pay from my new job.

irene forte serum. Did not absorb well, don’t think dud anything.

Aurelia night cell repair oil. Love this, on 4th bottle now. Skin feels soft and balanced.

mzskin gold eye mask. I really don’t think these do anything although they did feel quite soothing.

Essie skinny dip- a favourite sheer pink.

Larey King city shampoo. Liked a lot, felt gentle and my hair felt light (if that makes sense!) once blow dried.

I am sad bc i have finished the yummy Sunday Riley good Genes serum, which was excellent. I will deffo rp. From the JLP AC again what a gem that was! More please John Lewis!

A few empties:

90) Dr Organic gel moisturiser - another item from a H&B advent calendar. I didn't like this as a face moisturiser. It was too sticky and caused me to break out. However, it made an excellent foot cream!

91) Ultrasun SPF30 - really liked this. Very light, not sticky. Would definitely RP.

92) Autograph luminosity bronzer - this came in an M&S calendar. I didn't expect to like it as it looked a bit glittery, but I really did! Might RP.

You've just reminded me that I have one of those Aurelia oils in the stash. I'm using the night cream at the moment so I should dig that out to go with!

Just whacked it on over my night cream. I hope to awaken looking like a goddess 😁

@clary its so reasonably priced too. Do you order directly? They send good sized samples with the order.

I've been using the 111 day cream (15ml gwp) for three days and it's ever so greasy. Does it ever sink in?

Inkey List retinol serum. Wasn't a major fan. It smells a bit weird and I don't think it does much.

Prai night cream. I really liked this. It was very nourishing so you didn't need very much.

Bom Dia body cream. I love this. It comes in enough gwps and calendars that I never need to purchase.

Prai hand cream. This was OK. A bit lightweight.

Inkey List hyaluronic acid serum. This does actually seem to work. Either my eyesight has deteriorated so I can't see them or my wrinkles are less obvious. I read on here ages ago that you should splash your face with water before putting it in so that's what I've been doing. Unfortunately my local Boots have stopped doing it instore so I need to buy online now.

Yep I usually order from Aurelia as I agree, often get some nice extras

I've been the goddess of slobbing about today in joggers and no make up. Skin is looking quite glowy and hydrated though! 😄

Few more empties to report:
Bomb Cosmetics coco kitty soap- this was a cute soap with a coconut scent, it made my skin really soft. The only thing that put me off was that it hard soap flakes around the outside of it, these didn't dissolve but stuck to everything and everywhere.

no7 protect&perfect intense night cream- I loved this, the texture,the scent. I think I will rp this at some stage.

Molton brown delicious Rhubarb&Rose hand cream- the smell of this was lovely, it reminded me of the rhubarb and custard sweets, unfortunately it didn't moisturise my hands very well.

Am away on holibubs... a drugstore thing has opened up... how, how, how will I resist? First foray was very restrained - got a shower gel, some bath fizzers for DS, some wash for va-jay-jay... but am already dreaming of returning and melting plastic 🙈🙈🙈
