I have three different pairs of tweezers... have finally had the brainwave to put one of them in my handbag, so when I am somewhere and see something sprouting on my face I can deal with it!

Gallinée Face vinegar - I bought this as I was curious about the hype around face vinegar. It was really just a standard tuner. Nice scent but I think it notion of face vinegar is a bit faddy.

@clary I'm trying to work out what the Dermalogica serum was? Did it make you even more lovely? @OchonAgusOchonOh I think I might have had the vinegar in an H & B advent. Just re-inventing the wheel IMHO.

It was a vitamin c serum. It did seem to make a difference to me. I may get it again.

It's a vit C serum and I do think it improves texture and softness, maybe fine lines too.

Good size so could really try it.

Yeah. Call it something new and we'll fall for the hype.

@OchonAgusOchonOh - there are lots of more effective and less potentially damaging acids that work really well for many skin conditions, like AHA/BHA, azelaic acid, etc. I’d stick with science

I love a bit of selfcare especially with beauty care products.

I went to Greece last year and found these amazing products by Pharmaid.

Lost my hair in that same year so I was looking for something to help it grow back. I ended up buying lots of their products.

My favourite product has to be my Donkey Milk Treasures face cream and Athena's Treasures Avocado Hair Mask.

@OchonAgusOchonOh - Did it make you smell like a salad dressing?
I know that Caroline Hirons used to espouse the benefits of the Biologique Recherché P50 lotion which has vinegar in it. It also has phenol, which I would t touch with a barge pole. According to afficionados who have more money than me, it smells like the most expensive vinegar and onions ever. Madness.

I have one of those vinegars- was in the fortnums calendar last year. Not sure using @OchonAgusOchonOh ?

It didn't smell of vinegar at all. I was obviously done.

It was basically a toner so if you have one, I'd use it but wouldn't bother buying one.

This morning, after days of tummy pain, I actually decided to DRINK some apple cider vinegar 😱😱😱 and you know what??? I actually feel a lot better!

Cider vinegar is great provided it has the mother in it

I got these shampoo/conditioner bars in a H&B advent calendar at some point. I like the fact that they are ethical and don't use plastic so I wanted to love them them, but unfortunately I didn't.

I have long thick hair and these take ages to lather up. I found it almost impossible to wash or condition my hair using these. Whatever environmental points I got for the lack of plastic were used up by the fact that I had to spend 5 times as long in the shower trying to wash my hair! The last bits ended up in the bin.

Total for the year: 89/125

It's the bits you get in the cloudy, unfiltered cider vinegar. Not sure what it exactly but if the label says it has the mother then it's less processed and has the good bits that help digestion etc
