Not sure what thread number we are up to here but ALL ABOARD if you get JOY from buying and trying beauty products!!!

We sometimes enable but we also share out thoughts, support one another and generally share our love of beauty consumerism!

L'Occitane body oil. I really liked this but prefer proper soap so won't rp.
Dr. Brand primer. Really liked this too. Would consider a rp when my current stash if primers is depleted.
Origins ginseng eye cream. Other than the colour, which reminds me of calamine lotion and chicken pox, this is a great eye cream. I have another one waiting in the wings (plus about 4 others too)
Caudalie cleanser. I'm not a fan of foaming cleansers. I use in the shower if I get freebie ones but won't buy.

I also used up another 28 items for an advent calendar I made up for my dd. I still have loads to go thorough though.

I have a number of empties (will post pic later) but had to respond to @OchonAgusOchonOh and the eye cream - YES it does look like calomine lotion - and also Germolene! I like it tho.

One chuck for me - a mascara that was in an AC - so crap, it smudges all over my lower lids. It's called Better Than Sex errr I think not!

Will update but this is peak use-up before AC time eh? Keep it up ladies!

TOo Faced mascara - NOT better than sex binning this, v smudgy after a shott while on
No7 palette - a former fave but v old
Weleda deodorant- not effective
Spa Magik BB - a HG love this but can't fjnd it anywhere :(
Medik8 - great vit c serum would rp
Eyeshadow - 2 yrs old and dried up!

A few empties:

Reincarnation hair mask. It does make hair heavy and swishy but I've got a litre of nioxin to finish.

Body shop liquid peel : amazing at sloughing off layers of dead skin and crud. Have RP'd

Numerous radox bath foams and shower gels.

@clary I looked on the Sea Magik website - the samples of the BB cream are available... but probably not an economic way of purchasing.

Yh I know, I saw those too. Not sure it is very green nor economic. <sigh> when you find something you love - this was my third tube after getting it in ab AC two years ago.

Pure day cream. The cream is quite thick but surprisingly un-moisturusing. My skin still felt a little tight unless I lathered massive quantities on.

Pai cleansing oil. This was OK but not great at removing mascara.

L'Occitane Ultra light body cream. This was lovely. However, it was whipped so loads of air in the jar so not as much in it as you think.

@Experiment627 IKR it's a tough life eh. Bought a L'Oréal one but I don't like it of course.

@clary I just saw that Aldi do a BB cream - may be worth a try?

I have some emptied to report:

• Aldi Lacura healthy glow retinol toner: this is a dupe for a Pixi one, I liked applying retinol as a toner... not sure if it turned back time though
• The Body Shop Japanese matcha tea face mask: so expensive for what you get, will not RP
• Superdrug Me+ acacia collagen body gel: love this range of body creams. Sink in really fast and smooth the skin.

Empties update:

114) Rituals hair mask - ok. Smelt nice. Nothing particularly special

115) Kiehls shampoo - fine. Nothing special. Not really for my hair type though as I don't have dry hair

116) Lixirskin Cleanser - not bad. I liked using this as a second cleanse after an oil on days that I was wearing more makeup than usual

117) Rituals Serendipity shower gel - ok. didn't love the smell of this. It reminded me of a cheap 90s body spray

I have two empties to report:

• Lacura pineapple hot cloth cleanser: really liked this. Definitely prefer to Liz Earle one. Cheap as chips.
• Lacura jelly cleanser: I think this is supposed to be a dupe of the Drunk Elelphant one, which I have not tried. Really not fussed about this cleanser.

I'm getting stressed about my lack of Beauty AC.. I'm struggling to choose one but have FOMO! Have some not very exciting empties (as mainly things I use regularly).

Garnier Nutrisse restoring conditioner x2 - comes with my hair dye so always using this, I do actually really like it though which is handy! Have been using it more often recently as I'm not rating my current everyday conditioner (but using it up anyway).

Unbranded makeup wipe - pretty sure this was in a travel set I was gifted many moons ago. It was completely dry so I don't know if it was crap because its so old or if it was just crap! I decided to just chuck the second one so technically two things out of my stash

Beauty Pie Super Retinol face serum - still loving so had a spare in stock already.

Beauty Pie everyday great skin concealer - my absolute favourite beauty item, so much so that I had two spares waiting in the cupboard.

Still powering through before advent season starts!

118) Ritual of Ayurveda body cream - quite liked this. May rp at some point

119) Rituals glow serum - meh. Rituals should probably stick to bath and body products

120) 3Lab WW Cream - this is a lovely winter moisturiser. It's thick, but absorbs beautifully. Too £££ to rp.

121) Aurelia Night Moisturiser - This has a lovely buttery texture. It might be a little to rich for me as it tends to sit on the surface of my skin a bit, but I don't mind too much with a night cream.

122) Fresh Strawberry face wash - ok. A bit too abrasive I think. Wouldn't rp.

@clary I found the BB cream in Aldi and bought two shades - tried one yesterday and really liked it. Was very light coverage, need to see if buildable.

For any of you that might be sporners as well as beauty product addicts: I managed to squeeze a massive whitehead I have had on my chin for ages. Was fabulous.

@Experiment627 will have a look in Aldi this weekend. Excellent work on the whitehead 👏

I fell off the thread again. Anyone finding this is happening a lot lately?
Anyhow… Three empties…
One mini Laneige lip sleeping mask in peppermint. This was in last year’s holiday pack. The ginger snap one tasted like caramel (disappointing for ginger addicts like myself - further on that later) so I gave it to my son. Fool that I am. He promptly lost it. The peppermint one was really good though. Normally J&am flavours are quite subdued but this had more oomph than normal. Still same super product.
**Guerlain Aqua Allegoria Ginger Piccante EDT. One of the only ginger fragrances that actually smells like ginger. It’s zingy, fresh, light, sexy and actually has good longevity. Good for this climate. I have a back up bottle. It’s my date night perfume. (DH prefers sugary fragrances which I detest, so will compromise next time and get the Orange Solleia one which isn’t too sweet, but delicious.)
Bottle of Laneige Cream Skin Refiner. I had run out of moisturizing cream (really!!!) and this 3/4 empty bottle had been lurking in the back of my stash cupboard along with a pot of moisturizer that I used to use. I tried that first, but the napalm-like effect implied that it had expired a while ago. (Bin.) Cream skin on face. Splash splash. I had forgotten how lovely this stuff was. Firstly, the red rash from the napalm was gone by morning, and it’s been adequate to use on top of tretinoin because it’s suddenly as hot and and humid as Hade’s armpit here. (Occasionally add a drop or two of rose hip oil if I need it, but that’s been maybe twice.) I have the same product in a mist, but not sure if it will cut the mustard as have been VERY generous with application.

Zelens 3T complex anti ageing cream 15mls. Liked, effective not greasy.

Charlotte Mensah Hair oil 15ml - Also liked, quite smoothing. Would consider rp

Laura Mercier pure Canvas primer 1o ml sample - didn't do anything at all.

Couple of empties
F and M Lilas perfume - RP of last years AC hit, I love this. However, not only was the bottle chipped from dropping it on the loo floor at work (!), but also I suspect it was watered down (eBay purchase) as it didn’t last well, so glad it’s done. One more in my stash.

Sol de Janeiro hair mask thingy - love this, love the smell, will probs get one in AC tho.
