I accidentally wore double denim, then because I was rushing, I considered it and went "Nah, CBA". Yes, I am old enough to know better. No, still not bothered. There may be a special circle of Hell reserved for me (7.5a?) but I still can't bring myself to care very much. Is this is a bonus in exchange for everything heading south, rapidly? getting to a certain age? Will I start wearing purple soon, and moaning about the price of butter? Tell me your fashion things, that you're not bothered about, please. TIA.

I call them my dog walking trousers.

Lightweight, navy walking trousers, been in them all day, multiple pockets (some even have a zip), they are so unbelievably comfy in this weather, never crease although I rustle as I walk.

As well as actually walking the dog in them today, I was seen by people I know when I then did a food shop later, yeah its just me rustling around the supermarket. Don't give a jot.

Today, readers, I am wearing a frock (yes I am old) that actually exposes part of my knees, my denim man's jacket that I have trimmed the cuffs of with red ribbon to 'feminise' it a bit. Cos of the red, in the dress, and the jacket, and I have remembered I own a pair of red trainer socks, I am wearing those with my white trainers. They can't touch you for it, apparently.

Yeah, Fred's been through some shit, the street has an informal rota to feed him while he recovers. My dressing gown of doom has had many sightings in the street. From calling the cat, to running out to the postman, it's an ugly thing of beauty.

Anyway, I used to rock a very old donkey jacket (now lost in the myriad house moves) and this thread brought it to mind. It was my uncles and far too big for me but I loved it. Amazingly they are still sold
